About this house rental
Beautiful East Vail home just steps from the Town of Vail bus stop. Four bedrooms and two spacious levels allow for ample space to spread out or gather together. Unwind in front of the gas fireplace and in the private hot tub after a long day on the mountain. In the summer, open the patio doors to combine inside with out and fire up the grill. There is a feeling of privacy from the back patio as it sits elevated over an open space. The perfect home for mountain memories with family and friends.

Listing Neighborhood Overview:
This home is nestled in the heart of East Vail. East Vail has a grocery store, a liquor store, and one restaurant at the Vail Racquet Club. We recommend getting groceries at the City Market or Safeway (5-10 minute drive). The local grocery here has a limited stock and should ideally be used in a pinch.
East Vail is home to beautiful waterfalls in the summer, dramatic mountains, and snow covered couloirs in the winter. East Vail is truly perfect if you want to be immersed in nature, yet minutes from Vail Village with easy access to the free Town of Vail bus stop.
Listing Transit:
While we always recommend having a vehicle, it is not necessary for this property. The home is near a Town of Vail bus stop that runs every 15 minutes in the winter and 30 in the summer (until it doesn't, then you are best served with a taxi). There is plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. While there is a garage, it is best suited for one car max.
Listing Notes:
Cleaning is available during your stay for an extra charge depending on the service you require.
Animals:
You will be staying in the beautiful mountains of Vail! While it is uncommon to run into anything, you should be aware of the animals that call the area home such as black bears and mountain lions.
Potential Noise:
You can hear I-70 from the back patio of the house.

Great layout and so much nicer than most places that allow pets! We loved the hot tub too. You can hear the freeway noise when on the deck, but even with the slight sound of the hot tub bubbles you’d never even know it’s there at night. It feels so private surrounded by all the tall trees. We will most definitely come back!

100% amazing except if you plan to do any cooking of a more elevated kind. Kitchen towels / sponges are at a minimum, no tall drinking glasses, no condiments except salt and pepper, no tongs for indoor use, no placemats when the plates slip around on the table, and (particular to our group) no way to whip potatoes/pancakes except with a medium size whisk.
That all being said, everything was absolutely perfect for our group, including the dogs. Go to Bighorn park for across the road along Streamside drive for a perfect playground around a pond / frisbee golf course, and a trailhead for hiking.
Thank you, we will be back with hand blender in hand!
