My family stayed here for my daughter’s JMU graduation. The house is very cozy and spacious and we were all quite comfortable. we had a small issue with the tub that was rectified within hours. if I were to stay again, I would bring some items such as garbage bags (we couldn't find any other than the one), toilet paper (glad we brought some), dawn dish soap, sponge and sugar/sweetener - those items we had to buy surprisingly. Towels were provided which was sweet! Cable TV was appreciated.

The house is very dirty. When we go there we found the whole house dirty. Hair ties and hair on the bathroom floor. White crumbs on the couch. Gunk on the walls. Broken cabinets. The list goes on.

I have a group of friends, we all love the house, and we all are enjoying our weekend getaway. There is a big space for a group like me. But when i get in to the house the floor is a bit dirty i couldn't find and supplies for cleaning only one broom and there is a water leak from the rain into on of the room. Overall we are really enjoying our time at the house. Looking forward to go again next year. That would be great if the person who's responsible for communication replies the phone calls faster than this.

Nice area, house for the most part good.

Everyone felt right at home and we really enjoyed it!

There was 15 in our group and there was plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone! We enjoyed the views from the back deck and the kids enjoyed exploring the woods! Kitchen was well equipped. Fenced-in backyard was great for our dog there was an opening she got out once but we quickly blocked it so just double check and walk down the fence. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to renting again!

Nice location but would not rent again. House needs an overhaul (paint, carpeting, smart tvs, several light fixtures have bulbs out).

The property was as described and satisfied our need to accommodate traveling family coming to our daughters wedding at Melrose Caverns in Harrisonburg. A few minor issues: missing light bulb, broken toy left in couch, sticky spot on lower level carpet. More inconvenient was a broken master bath blind. But aside from that we loved the layout and found the beds very comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed and it was wonderful watching the wandering deer through large windows. I love the area. Booking was excellent with assistance readily available from our contact Charity.

Great place for family weekend with lots of space. The house could use some attention as there are numerous structural and cosmetic issues. The deck is sketchy for sure. Raccoons visiting the deck at night was fun entertainment.

We had an age range from 6 weeks to 60 year olds. The home was as advertised, no hot tub; the jacuzzi jets did not turn on, but worked great as a large soaking tub - the 3 year old loved bath time in there. The refrigerator was not clean and the gate along the fenced in yard did not close completely. The gate did not bother us as we did not bring pets and the toddlers were not going near the gate and were never left unattended. We would suggest an upgrade on the beds for a more comfortable sleep, more chairs for the nice large dining room table. The kitchen was well stocked, including a toaster and a crockpot. We would suggest adding a keurig and a waffle iron. We did not use the indoor or outdoor grill. The house was at a comfortable temperature with the exception of the converted room, which was too warm in the summer. We would also suggest some toddler toys at toddler level and a gate for the stairs. The resort had plenty to do, but limited hours. The community pool was wonderful for people of all ages. The teens loved the diving board. The toddlers liked the kiddie pool and the shallow ends of the large pool. The pool was well attended by lifeguards, large enough for lap swim exercising and appeared to have a designated lap lane. The kids easily made friends at the pool. The miniature golf course was beautiful. The girls said the summer tubing was fast... heard many people say it was faster than a water slide... the boys said it wasn't fast enough.

We had a great time staying for 3 nights in this property. The place was more than we expected with spacious rooms and bathrooms for a group of 15 of us. The amenities were as advertised and everything was working perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. I would highly recommend this property.

This house was spacious enough for our large blended family. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus, the fireplace was awesome. There are minor things that could be fixed eventually but it wouldn’t prevent me from booking again. Thank you for the hospitality and open communication!

Very accommodating for our group , but it could use a good deep cleaning!

We were in Massanutten for my daughter's wedding. The bridal party got ready in the house before the ceremony. Plenty of room and natural light that pleased the photographer, makeup artist and hairstylist. The house was just right for our needs.

The pictures of the property were old original pictures of the property. The property needs renovations done and a professional cleaning done. There were a lot of little damages, patch up holes in wall, open holes in closet ceiling, broken window handles, missing windows, uncleaned kitchen grill, broken Master bedroom jetted tub plus busted open panel to the tub, dirty linen on beds, over all the house was not clean it was straightened not properly cleaned. The number provided for the host is an answering machine, I never got to talk to a physical person. So I emailed them, I got a not so helpful response the next day. If fixed up and cleaned this could be a wonderful vacation home. It's a nice size home in a wonderful neighborhood, close to all amenities.

The layout of this house was perfect for our large family for our annual Memorial Day weekend getaway! The rental office was closed (early) upon our arrival to check-in; however, the keys were left in a very convenient lockbox for pickup. The welcome basket with starter supplies and house/local information was very nice; however, I would suggest also including instructions as to how to work the bathtub/shower faucets as that was a challenge that required us to call maintenance for assistance. We had a few other issues with the house discovered later that we did not feel were "emergency" maintenance repairs and with it being a holiday weekend the rental office was not open to contact. The toilet seat in the bathroom off the kitchen appeared to be broken and repaired with electrical tape. This should be replaced vs. repaired. We were unable to use the main living room TV as it appears the cable was not functioning. There were several TV remotes with missing batteries and the bedroom off of the kitchen TV remote was missing. We were unsure if the main TV in the downstairs living room had cable as we were unable to get that TV to connect after replacing the remotes with batteries. I would highly recommend having the cleaning staff check the remotes for batteries as part of their checklist. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't access the main living room TV's/Cable after making a trip to the store for replacement batteries. As previous renters have stated, we too were unable to get the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom to work after filling it up for some very excited kids to use. Instructions for use would have been nice to have and/or if the jets are nonoperational, it should be stated not to use. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and the huge dining room table was perfect for us! The back deck was very nice and we enjoyed the views; however, there should be more than 3 chairs as the online pictures appeared to show more chairs provided and mentioned rockers, which would have been wonderful to have. We very much enjoyed our stay in this house and plan to rent again next year. Hopefully without the minor issues that we had during this stay.

We were 9 cyclists and some areas would need some attention.
The mattresses and some of the beds at the basement level are not in good working order for adults.
We didn't have a propane tank to use the brand new BBQ.
We couldn't use of the multiple TV's.
We didn't have a hose to clean our bikes.
