Hotel did what I wanted it to. Staff friendly and helpful, enjoyed my steak in the evening, but rooms at the back of hotel were too warm.

The bar and hotel rooms was totally spotlessly clean.
Beds comfortable, shower amazing.
Continental breakfast had a good selection of fresh food and tasty.

Very comfortable room. Eventually worked out that I needed to have the shower cubicle light on in order to turn on the toilet room light! Staff very helpful. Only a buffet cold breakfast available; no cooked breakfast like a full English available.
Happy with my stay though and the price, which included breakfast.

Check in was easy and staff very helpful and attentive and although advising the restaurant was fully booked said they would try to fit us in, which they did. The food was lovely and well priced.
We had booked the deluxe double room which was huge with a lovely bathroom. Only downside was the desk had no power points to plug laptop in so ended up working on bed, The room was large and would have benefited from a couple of comfy chairs as the bar and restaurant are not open on Sundays, in fact there were no staff there after 10 am Sunday morning (not advertised or stated when booking) so the only place to sit on a bad weather day as we had is to sit on the bed
Breakfast is included, but is just a very basic Continental offering, no hot options. Which was a disappointment after the good food in the restaurant the night before I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast
All the staff were top notch though and cannot be faulted just a few minor points that had these been mentioned on the booking form I would have probably wouldn’t have booked it

What an amazing hotel, everything looks brand new and super stylish.
The evening meal was excellent, good choices and reasonably priced.
All staff were pleasant and polite.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Reception isn't signposted but luckily another customer pointed us in the right direction through the bar area.
The room was really nicely presented and had all of the things we needed for our short stay.
The bar/restaurant are gets busy but the food is amazing!
Definitely recommend

We booked a large double with on suite bathroom What we got was a small double with on suite just big enough to walk down both sides of bed The bed was held up with bits of wood which kept stubbing my toes on . The bed side lights didn’t work (which were replaced) when I went to complain on Sunday afternoon there was no body about in fact there was no one in either the reception kitchen or bar it was deserted Apart from the bed side lights being replaced there NO CONTACT from the hotel management at all! Which is either BAD management or bad manners

Decent stay. Room was clean. And looked nice. Fairly compact room.
Breakfast selection was good.

Cute little room, seemed clean and tidy. Was actually in better nick than larger chains I've stayed with.
The place is a bit of a rabbit warren, but it's nice.
Bar seemed good, very well stocked. Some people I was with said the evening food was great.
Breakfast was continental serve yourself. Cereals, white and brown bread, crumpets, danish pastries, croissants, buttter, jam, fruit, ham and cheese, yoghurt. Also juice, and a coffee machine.
All the staff I encountered were polite and friendly.
Do note there is parking, but I don't believe there is enough for all guests. There is on-street parking outside, however.

Had a great stay. The lady who checked us in and looked after us all day was so nice. Happy and smiley constantly. I think her name began with an S. sorry I can’t remember it. So very lovely.

Staff difficult to find on arrival, but once sources very polite and helpful. No vegan options on menus except a cake. Boys though enjoyed their burgers with relish.
Room comfortable and clean with a gorgeous bathroom. But stay spoilt by a noisy fridge, that kept making loud unusual whirring sounds throughout night.
Vegan food ordered for wake following day and all they offered was some sticks of veg, no hummus, falafel etc.So vegan guests were left hungry. Communication with venue over wake was terrible Not sure I'd stay again, definitely wouldn't use them as a venue or eat there again.

Check in fine, room a good size and lovely bathroom sadly all downhill from there. Absolutely useless lighting in the bedroom, hard lumpy mattress, awful flat pillows. A kettle is provided on a desk but no plugs anywhere near , ditto two mirrors but nowhere near a plug for hairdryer/straighteners - you have to unplug the fridge briefly (this is a double socket BUT the other half is behind the radiator valve so unusable. The so called breakfast is a pathetic attempt at a continental (no English breakfast despite being in England). Often things missing (for example bread) which if you can find the one surly member of staff are eventually replaced, other basics, like strawberry jam, they have just run out of. Dried out pastries and terrible coffee complete the meal! We would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

The rooms are neat however the breakfast is completely off, not worth it.

There were only 11 parking spaces so we ended up parking on the street which I wasn't expecting or happy about. There wasn't any clear signage for the reception desk as you have to walk through the bar. We were asked for payment details incase we trashed the room and were informed when breakfast was served from and until (different from their signs and website).
There was a 24 hour entrance for if the front was locked which seemed great until we went to get in. The key for the door was the same key as for the bedroom which meant 1 key would not only open the entrance to the hotel but every door in there. Rooms were tiny and the craftsmanship wasn't what I'd expect from a hotel.
Definitely not staying there again

Nicely refurbished hotel by the quay. I stayed in very hot weather and it was refreshing to have a well good fan in the room.

Good location if you’re sightseeing around Lincolnshire. Very friendly staff. The continental breakfast was good and my room was nice quiet at night. 👍 I had a good time.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed room and facilities. Only staying for one night so no chance to check out much of location but had river views. A pleasant stay

Basic room and facilities but great value!
Food was amazing but breakfast very basic
CCTV everywhere and ID and credit card required at check in which unnerved me a little as never needed in the UK in over 20 years of business travel

Very friendly, great bar, really good food. Only pitfall was the bedroom walls, seemed very thin! Either side of me i could hear conversations as if they were in my room. Other than that.. great stay.
