Great location. Across the street from Plaza de España. Short walk to the other tourist sites. 20 minute ride to airport. Booked the family room. Separate living room with pullout bed. Clean and breakfast was great, lots of choices. Overall great stay.

The hotel is nice but we chose it based on sauna and facilities (like indoor pool which is advertised on their website).
If you’re staying here for that, don’t. They are not open- just advertised as available. Apparently if you dig deep on hotel.com they specify that (they don’t on their website).
The manager was nice to have a chat with us and we got vip entry (the day before we left). Usually the price for this is 50-70€ and useful if you also wish to have breakfast. We had already paid for breakfast separately so was a bit of a waste as we couldn’t eat breakfast twice in the same morning.
It’s such a shame and misleading.
All in all, we ended up paying too much for a sauna and hot tub which wasn’t available +€75 to actually go to a proper sauna.
Ps: the manager said that the facilities wouldn’t actually be free as it’s a 3rd party who deals with that.

I liked the morning buffet, the room, cleanliness, the pool the only thing I minded was waiting over half an hour to take the elevator to my room

Amazing property. Loved that it’s right across the street from Plaza de Espana. The pool area is wonderful! Highly recommend. Would stay here again!

Nice hotel and a good location but I have never had such bad service. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes waiting for service and finally asked a waiter to help us and they scoffed and walked away. My wife and I immediately left and went to a restaurant outside of the hotel. On a positive the pool and view was nice

Great quality hotel, good food and drinks options and the pool area was fantastic. I would stay here again. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the downtown core, but close enough to walk in.

It was a poor experience for money: lifts were always busy, there was no space in pool area and wifi didn't work

Very nice hotel, the sheets on my bed smelled funky like when they are left on the washer for too long and they pick up an ugly smell. Other than that it was great and very clean. The bar at the pool could use more staff, it would take a long time to get food or drinks with just one person serving all the guests.

Excellent Melia Hotel. Lives up to its reputation in service and accommodation. Only negative feedback would be no kettle, coffe or tea facilites in room compared to other 4 or 5 star hotels, otherwise exceptional.
