We basically just got the room to sleep 1 night. Walked about 3 minutes to catch the trolley to Universal Studios. Dropped us off at same spot and went to the room and crashed out.

This is the perfect place to stay for a quick weekend at universal studios. It was clean, staff was excellent, parking on well lit lot and a short walk to universal studios shuttle. Lots of food options in walking distance too! Over all great experience

If you are seeking a hotel in close proximity to Universal Studios, this hotel will meet your requirements. It is indeed within walking distance, approximately a 5-minute walk across two busy roads, where you can board the shuttle bus. While it is possible to walk to the studios themselves, it is worth noting that the route involves an uphill climb, the shuttle buses operate frequently
Now, regarding the hotel itself, the initial impression may be somewhat dated and perhaps slightly unsettling due to its location on a busy main road. The car park is notably small, and the reception area is secured, requiring guests to be buzzed in. Additionally, there is an extra tax per night that may not have been previously communicated, and a substantial amount of paperwork to complete upon check-in. It is also important to be aware of the unusual rule that guests will be charged if blood is found on the bedsheets.
The hotel room itself was to be the smallest we've encountered during our numerous road trips to America. The initial impression of the decor may be somewhat depressing, and the bedroom furniture appears well-worn. The table next to the bed poses a safety hazard, and the bathroom is quite compact, lacking adequate storage space
On a positive note, the room was clean, the cleaning staff try to make it a pleasant environment for guests. However, what wasnt mentioned was the noise from the traffic which did keep us awake.

Only stayed overnight. Basically used it to sleep and shower. The front desk employees were some of the nicest people I’ve met. Love the classic Hollywood look of the outside. Also there is a nice donut place next door, which was a bonus!

What a great place to stay for a universal city and universal studios trip. Just a few minutes from the shuttles. Great price for the booking and save 75 dollars a day on parking.

The Nite Inn was a perfect location for a trip to Universal Studios. The rooms were very clean but were tired. In need a remodel. The service was fantastic though.

It was great walking distance to the shuttle for Universal Studios Hollywood. The room is decent, the pictures on website make it seem more modern than what it actually is its out dated. We had issues with the toilet every day my husband became our plumber. The things you have to settle for due to LA prices.

I enjoyed the short walking distance to get to the Universal Studios shuttle (10-15 min. Walk). The room had all the essentials and perfect for keeping this type of vacation on a budget.
This is a small property. So, parking is limited, no extra property amenities like a gym or pool/spa. Room is also a little tight but for the budget and a comfortable bed near the park this was worth it.
I had a great time at the theme park and city walk. I would recommend this location compared to spending the extra amount for parking at Universal or a taxi. Thanks Nite inn for our Universal Vacation hotel.

I wish there was a mirror in the room since we had a suite, it was hard to get ready with only one mirror in the bathroom. Also they should get a different color towel for wiping off your face with make up if they’re gonna be so strict with no make up or stains on towels, some times accidents do happen such as bloody noses so I don’t know how they expect us to control it.

A lot of this is to be expected in a city like Los Angeles, but my ome complaint is the sewage smell in the bathroom and how claustrophobic the room was. Front desk staff were very friendly and professional, though.

This place is very basic (not even a tissue box is provided) but is clean and does its job of providing a place to sleep at a location close to Universal Studios. The manager is friendly, helpful and accommodating and made our stay a nice one.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Nite Inn. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is small, but well-lit and secure. The location is excellent. It is right off the 101 and not far from a Ralph's, a Walgreens, and many other stores and services. Not only is it "walking distance to Universal Studios," it is walking distance to the Metro Station. You can buy a metro pass, load it with funds, then easily travel throughout the city, no driving necessary. Also, the Nite Inn is walking distance from the Baked Potato Jazz Club, where you can relax and enjoy live music every night.
