Convenient, easy access, safe. Hard to get transportation after 10 at night. Not impossible just hard

The staffs were courteous and pleasant. Free drink and coffee provided. The rooms are a bit clean. Beds are comfy. It's a safe neighborhood. Not many choices of restaurants and stores are within a walking distance. However, the place is satisfactory.

Outside of the small bathrooms the place is fabulous. It’s only 7 blocks from the main square. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have outside seating. Don’t listen to the reviews about it being in an unsafe area. Me and my son walked it daily and at night as well never had any issues with anyone.

The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. They helped us book daily tours that picked us up and dropped us off at the doorstep of the hotel.
Only issues were: the restroom smelled like urine. . .we went to the store close by, got gloves and a bottle of bleach and washed the entire restroom, which while it was simple enough, it wasnt something Id say is ideal to have to do when on vacation.
The other concern was that when it does rain, there is significant flooding in all the surrpunding streets so we walked in 10 inches of rain water that flooded the streets. So if youre going during the rainy season, be mindful of that.
Everything else was good. They had purified water available 24/7, as well as coffee and a microwave. The AC in the rooms was phenomenal. They did have internet, it worked just fine in the desktop/phones.
Overall, I would recommend as a decent accommodation, that gets the job done.

The good: The staff are nice and helpful, the AC works really well, and they have cold and hot water as well as coffee available at the lobby at all times.
The bad: depending on the room, it can be noisy due to traffic, the toilet seats don't have enough room to sit comfortably since they face the wall with only inches of leg room, and the Internet can be unreliable

Good AC but noisy with awfully crammed toilet seats.

The bathroom is by far the smallest I have ever seen, by far! Sitting on the toilet is nearly impossible. When taking a shower EVERY THING in the bathroom gets wet since there is no wall or curtain.
Area is very old and not safe to walk around in at night. On our last day someone knocked on the door and informed us that we were not allowed to leave due to a wreck in the parking lot. He claimed to be the police and said that if we left the hotel we would be shot. Seemed very suspicious that he targeted the Americans room. And the front desk clerk acted like he didn't know the guy was in the building despite watching the security cameras.
Will never stay here or anywhere even close to thia hotel in the future. Stay in North Merida it is beautiful and safe.

Staff are excellent. Well located property. Parking on site. Yes the bathroom is small but it is workable. Better than most in the area.

The staff was very nice and helpful.
But I do believe the rooms could use some upgrades: the bathroom doesn’t have not even one hook to hang towels, not the hand towel or shower towel, which is not convenient at all. The room is also missing a full body mirror, cause it only has a tiny one in the bathroom. It would also be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom to put some toiletries. There’s only very small space next to the sink, which is definetely not enough. Also a glass or a cup to put the toothbrush.
As for everything else, I loved that there was a water cooler to refill bottles, and the location is amazing.

The staff is exceptional at this property! It is a very basic room, and the bathroom is very small with no shower curtain in the king size bedroom. There is a safe in the room. But no refrigerator. They do, however let you use theirs, as well as the microwave. Always fresh coffee every morning. Nancy at the desk will do anything she can to help you. She was amazing! This sits on a bus line and the streets are very crowded all the time! It is a quick six block walk to the main Square. They do have a nice size patio on the second floor, however, rude loud guests kept us up a couple of nights! We stayed 16 nights.

The rooms are very sparse. Comfy big bed, TV with netflix, prime etc that we used once. The bathroom is tight and the shower has no door so tossing down a towel is needed. The staff were AWESOME THOUGH!!! There are convenience stores nearby, lots of fresh water on demand (free), a fridge and freezer available if needed, laundry service for longer stays. Located close to the main city square where, it seems, there is always something happening. Merida is a good home base for many outings to ancient ruins or cool cenotes. The hotel was all we needed for our base. It is certainly not 5 star but I would recommend it for those who just need a safe base from which to operate.

This is a freshly remodeled hotel. I feel still undergoing upgrades. Bed is excellent , brand new . Fresh painted walls. I think bathroom ( that is extremely clean) needs more attention to make the experience better . I didn’t like location ( but is a 5 minute walk to main square) but I heard this will be the next government upgrade project within the city.
