We were there late November, which is off season. For that reason, it was pretty quiet. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bathroom was very small and it took a LONG time to get hot water! Good water pressure, tho. The kitchenette was perfect for a short stay. It was supplied with a small refrigerator, microwave and a pod coffee maker. The biggest beef I had with our visit was trying to communicate with the management. Apparently, on-site personnel is MIA in motels these days. A keyless entry code is supplied and if you don’t enter it correctly, it locks you out! Same with their smart tv (no cable- you supply your own streaming services). Again, a phone call must be made to correct any issues! They did answer the calls and were able to help, but I’m not happy with how complicated it was. I think it would be a good idea to provide better instructions prior to check in.

The name drew me in and I couldn't have asked for a better stay! I got in late in the evening, and all of the staff was very accommodating and considerate. The room was comfortable and adorable, and the proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Hope to return and stay again!

Excellent staff, very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Great service especially Brad helping with anything you require. The rooms were clean and neat, especially loved the origami through toiletries. This place is walkable to nearby restaurants and stores, especially like the TIKI BAR located across the street. Bartenders there were quick with service and very pleasant to meet. With reasonable prices and great location you cannot go wrong vacationing with The Sea Witch.

The pool was out of service with seemingly no effort to repair or clean it. The gate to enter beach access was screwed shut for the last day of our long weekend and the outdoor shower disconnected. Staff took beach blanket from in front of our room which was really weird fortunately I saw and followed to take it back.. overall just not like it used to be and seemed like they had just given up on the place.

Room was cute but very small. Ours was ground floor near garbage cans so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside for fresh air. A/c unit so loud kept me up…only helped drown live music next door til midnight. Also ridiculously loud couple over our room also kept us up until 2am. Convenient to beach and boardwalk

Good: -nice location: we were right at the beach!! -we felt pretty safe Cons: -The pool was green. -The AC had black mold on the plastic vent that blows into the room. -We had to hustle to be there by 5pm, when check-in starts at 4pm.

We loved the location! We walked everywhere. The room was clean but lacked closet space or a luggage rack to keep suitcase off the floor. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved being on the beach. Sea Witch cafe across the street is a popular eatery and bar. However, they do have a band late into the evening that you can hear in your room.

I love this hotel and the fact that it has been a part of the Carolina Beach landscape for decades. The property is “vintagey” and they have done an amazing job at keeping up with this iconic part of CB. The cost is great for such a convenient and beautiful lication.

I reserved a room with an ocean view, and was given a room on the first floor with view of the next building wall. I asked to be given another room, "with the view". It turned out - there are NO rooms with ocean view, maybe with some glimpses of it, from the second floor. The property is not just old, it's ancient! The room door has the spaces between the door and the frame, the bathroom door could not be closed at all, as it's deformed from humidity and age. No hair dryer. But the worst was the bed - looks like a full size with a terrible mattress that gave both of us the back pain. Very noisy AC. The pool has a disgusting green slime in it, no wonder nobody was using it. The price though is not the cheapest in the area. $247 for a night in a shack is too steep. The staff is friendly and efficient though. No complaints about them.

The property has an excellent location and is priced to match the accommodation level. The air conditioner was an older unit that should have been replaced a long time ago. Every time the unit cycled on the loudness would wake us up and keep us awake while it was running. The condition of the unit must have been known to management given that house keeping is in the room so frequently. We'll be returning to the area but staying elsewhere.

I loved my stay at the SeaWitch Motel! Easy access to the beach and everything I wanted to go to was within walking distance. Never needed to move my car. The SeaWitch Tiki Bar across the street was an excellent experience. Really felt at home there. The staff is awesome and I will certainly stay there on my next Carolina Beach visit!

The pictures online vs the room we were in did not match up but the room was quaint and what we needed. The bathroom and shower were not as clean as I would have liked but everything else was fine. Service was quick from the front desk and they were very kind. Great location and price.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the SeaWitch. It’s adorable, cozy, and right on the beach. The only negative thing we could say is that the water pressure in the shower is subpar. 10/10 would definitely recommend and we plan to stay again in the future.
