Check in was painless and quick. We had a bottom floor room so we heard everyone’s foot steps from above room. Also heard next door tenant snoring. So walls are pretty thin. On a good note, bed was comfortable and room was really clean.

The LVT flooring was nice. Mattress had a topper. Bed was alright. My friend stayed at the Carousel for far less and his place was nice too.

Nothing special, but worked for us on a quick family trip during a Holiday weekend. It was nice to be directly across the street from the Boardwalk. Unfortunately like others have said the parking lot is small, but we made due. Having booked a family room with 6 people and 1 just coming for the day we only were allowed 1 spot even though the other car was not staying overnight, so we had to pay additional parking $30 for just a few hours. The hotel itself is old and worn, but it was clean and for the most part comfortable. Wanted to enjoy my coffee on the patio, but it didn’t open until after 9am. The hotel served its purpose of giving us a place to rest after a day on the beach.

The stay was exactly as expected. Clean and simple room with great water pressure for beach clean up. Shampoo provided could be improved but we travel with additional products so it was a non issue. Surrounding area felt safe but the location so close to the beach/boardwalk did attract a lot of foot traffic and possible opportunity for vandalism to tourists. We personally had lovely interactions with locals, beach dwellers, and long time surf culture enthusiasts. The staff was efficient, competent, and respectful. I really enjoyed the beautiful murals on the aqua breeze outer walls. A quirky little motel that we will be returning to in future visits.

This motel has a great location situated a few minutes walk from the pier and amusement park. The motel rooms have clean sheets and towels but don’t appear to be very clean beyond that.

It was great. Perfect location and free parking - friendly service and reasonable price. Only update needed is bed comfort - pretty out it date but I also understand for the rate - it was fine;) thanks for nice stay and beautiful sunset on the patio!

The location of this motel can't be beat. It's right across the street from the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel parking lot is small, there is additional parking in the alley behind the building. The room was clean and the bathroom had been updated. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the curtains filter light but don't completely block it.

Directly across from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and volleyball courts. Staff was friendly. Parking was a little sketchy and office/laundry hours were 9am-10pm, which was a little inconvenient but nothing that would make us not stay there.
