The AC was broken in the hotel and the stuff was not being forthright.

Hotel rooms ; needs to b remodeled: Floors n rooms are bad - dull look dirty. You could hear trolley come by often so letting us know to get on other side would b helpful. The charm of the place I love. The bar. Both bars. Location to many restaurants were great. Parking less overnight down the street on other side of street.

TV cable was out. Very inconvenient. Staff didnt seem to care. The conditions aren't stellar. Your money will go further elsewhere if you're looking for quality.

Great walking access to various parts throughout the city. Having a coffee shop and restaurants within the hotel is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend not having a rental car, you can likely walk wherever you need, and parking is a premium.

Hotel was beautiful, the room was excellent, loved the SMEG Fridge as well as the coffee shop next door. We found that the walk to Canal Street and Bourbon St. were not too bad. DId not like that there is no room service on the weekends, and that the Vallet is $50.00 a night.

This hotel is so beautiful. They have a lovely cafe and the lobby is gorgeous. The room is spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Also the bathtub was gigantic! (Loved it). I really enjoyed staying here—it was modern and classic at the same time. The staff is so helpful, kind, and friendly.

The person who checked me in should not be in customer service. Unfriendly and neglected to share wifi info. When I called to get the info she was equally unfriendly. Generally this is not a property with great customer service.
If you have a meal in the restaurant check the bill. I had a drink at the bar and was charged a kitchen fee even though I didn’t have a meal and would have left a tip for more than the 1.25 added to the bill. No one could explain the fee but it was eventually removed.
Great location, charming atmosphere, not great customer care.

Room floor was dirty. Very very dim. Carpet in the hallway torn up. Very Haunted mansion vibes as our kids said. Got fee’d to death. Beds were very uncomfortable. No wifi info anywhere, or breakfast info. Ice was only on 1 floor. Would not stay here again.

Perfect thank place for us to stay overnight for The Eras Tour!!! Brought my 12-year old niece and we were very comfortable and had more than enough space! Great and safe location with many restaurants around. Bed was comfortable and we had plenty of towels!

Showed up, the hotel said they lost my reservation for my king bed. They had one room available. It was a twin bed the room was obviously super dated and smelled terrible. The two times i tried to say something to the front desk people, they explained how I was lucky they had a room. The other thing they said was this always happens with Expedia bookings.

I thought the hotel overall was terrific and I would stay there again. The rooftop pool area and bar are awesome and the main floor lobby area, cafe and common spaces were great. I really enjoyed those things. The bed was comfortable, good pillows. I took off a star because I think the rooms could use a little sprucing up (in my room, the linoleum floors seemed to be coming unglued, there were some scuff marks on furniture and walls) and the elevators couldn't have been much slower (also one was out of order). There seems to be a regular rotation of live music on the weekends that tends to run late (and by late, I mean 2am at least on Saturday night while I was there), so be sure to ask for a room on a higher floor if that might bother you. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Staff just did not care about anything not show any interest.
Lifts always broken.
Room never tidied properly. Mini bar not refreshed.
Laundry got lost.
All in all felt like it was missing good management and leadership.

The building itself is awesome. Super cool inside with bars and restaurants. The room idea is awesome but not executed the best. The corner room with full windows and couch and bed and separate shower and tub we awesome, but it felt very institutional in the room. Echoed and could hear other rooms. The bed was really low and the mattress was super uncomfortable. Kind of a let down over all.

The rooftop pool area is a resort-level amenity. The room was quirky and fun, and a very nice shower to boot. Will definitely be coming back.

They have been bought out by Hyatt and working on renovations. Friendly staff. Clean and convenient to smoothie king and Caesars Superdome . Walkable area.

Front desk service was nice . Our first room had bathromm door broken , waited for ~ 10 mins for a handyman to come up and fix it. Nothing happened so we went down to get a new room which we did with no hassle.
New room had similar bathroom door - very heavy, need to put force to slide it and creaky. Also windows are not soundproof

THE STAFF ALONE MAKE THIS PROPERTY AMAZING. EVERYONE GREETS YOU WHEN YOU ARRIVE AND THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND ACCOMADATING. THE BATHTUB IN MY ROOM WAS AMAZING! THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.
THE ONLY THING THAT NEEDED IMPROVEMENT WAS THE AIR CONDITIONER. THE ROOM NEVER GOT COOLER THAN 74 DURING THE DAY AND 72 AT NIGHT.
