The unit is spacious and modern, with modern appliances and kitchen.
the area around the unit is a work in progress. While we were there, there was some sort of a problem with the water pipes underneath the street, and there was a makeshift setup to redirect water to the sewer. The neighborhood felt safe, but I wouldn’t venture too many blocks north.

Loved the layout and amount of space, the location was perfect and the residence would have actually been great, there were just a number of issues that really put a damper on the stay.
I was not made aware during booking, of the construction taking place directly in front of the units and GPS kept taking me to a portion of the street that was closed due to a large crater in the road. Because the blocks around the residences were one-way streets my GPS was not detecting an alternate route that actually brought us to the property, was not until I parked and actually walked to the address that I determined there was a side street I could access that would allow entry to the gated shared courtyard in the rear. Upon arrival I was then unable to open the door to my property. Contacted a Hosteeva rep that directed me through troubleshooting, then the property owner who could not determine the malfunction. A little over an hour and a half after my arrival a maintenance man was finally able to let us into another property. Day 2, I’d arrived at night so did not see the extent of the construction but my vehicle was covered in dust. Standing in the front of the house/porch/balcony meant being subjected to a dust storm whenever a car came through. This is by no measure an exaggeration, I underestimated the amount of dust that was coming up initially and literally caught a mouthful. You had to cover your entire face whenever a car came passed by. Lastly didn’t connect the dots until later in the stay, but there was some type of plumbing issue with the ensuite bathroom upstairs. Water did not drain properly from shower and when it did it leaked right through the ceiling into the living room, right in front of the TV…a lot (unable to attach video). Became apparent this has been an issue because there was mildew around the vent. So I had to purchase detergent to wash towels (no mop in house) for us because it took all that were remaining to contain water, it was that much. Mentioning the lack of dish towels or a cooking tray or large skillet seems trivial, but were additional purchases that I had to make.

The location was great, and the house is super cute!
The bed in the primary room was super freaky. If you even breathed, it creaked. Kept my husband and me awake quite a bit.
the 1/2 bath downstairs had an issue with the toilet continually running. I emailed the address listed on the fridge for “quick response” and didn’t get any reply the entire week we were there. After the first night of listening to it run, we managed to work out exactly how you had to jiggle the handle (multiple times each time) to get it to stop. would have been good to get any response from the management company.

the house was beautiful!
Parking on the street wasn’t difficult although 2 cars on 2 different days had their windows broken.
