Great location right in the centre of town, near Plaza Major. Room and everything fabulous once you get in. Only negative is the weird self checkin and the door wouldn’t open. Luckily the cleaners were there to help, but could be awkward if no one is around to help.

Reservation is dreadful. OKish if you have a Spanish DNI but impossible with a foreign passport. Doesn’t fit the square. Stay nice. Clematis, decor fine. A bit noisy and you can hear the water from other rooms

The hotel is in a great location to explore the old town of Salamanca. Hotel was nice and clean. The only downside was check out, where a misunderstanding occurred. The staff hadn't seen that we already had payed for our stay and therefor wanted us to pay again. However this situation sorted it self out. Just keep in mind to ask the staff if they have checked the website for payment if this would happen to you.

My review title states what I would tell a person followed by a strong recommendation to book a room there. As a side note I would mention that the hotel is hard to find by car, but everything else in the old section has the same issue.

Right around the corner from Plaza Mayor. Restaurant downstairs (we do not recommend eating there). Room was spacious with big windows that opened up to a view of the bell tower next door. Wifi connection was spotty but overall good value.

Where do I begin? The room was down a dark, narrow hallway. The mattress was about 3 inches thick and you could feel the coils, very uncomfortable. Plus, it was small. There was a bottle of hand soap on the sink, but no other soaps or shampoos. The hair dryer didn't work. There was no phone or sprinkler system in case of an emergency. The reception area was actually the bar, which closed at midnight so you needed a code to get into the front door if you were coming in late. The only plus was the location, near the plaza, but with poor sound proofing that was bad, too. After very little sleep, we were just glad to get out of there. It was by the far the worst hotel of out stay in Spain.
