The property itself is alright. The hospitality could really use some improvement. The room: nice, charming, and clean. The location: close to nearly everything. Hospitality: instructions state that you have until 5 PM to check in. We planned to relax on the beach that day until 4PM. We don't get a lot of time away and wanted to make the most of our trip. At 1:48 PM, there was a voicemail on my phone from the property (the owner) asking about our arrival time. I called back and was told everyone else had already checked in and she was waiting for us so she could go home. This was frustrating. If you don't want to work your stated hours, then maybe don't go into the hospitality industry? I politely explained that we were planning to arrive around 4 in order to enjoy our time at the beach. We arrived earlier than that because there is an advertised "happy hour" at the property. When we asked about it, she said no one came (on the dot at 4pm), so she didn't put it out. You expect people to be lining up at the door ahead of time for an advertised amenity?! Had I known this, we would not have left the beach early. They ask guests to book direct with them and not use third-party websites because it costs them a commission and they feel this isn't fair. They do not offer any type of discount for doing this, so I won't (I get rewards with hotels.com). Overall, the room was fine, but management's approach really dampened what was supposed to be a much-needed, restful holiday.

Room was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. It’s quite loud though given its proximity to a nightclub. The heating unit also was inconsistent in its ability to put out heat. The shower was extremely inconsistent as well. One minute it’s hot, the next it’s burning you or freezing - all on its own doing. No adjustments from me.

The only reason I did not give a 5 star is housekeeping did not check drawers and I was left with jeans and dirty under wear where I needed to put clean clothes (gross) brought this to staff attention next morning and was basically blown off no apology. Also very small room only single path to walk around and in front of bed. More of a 1 person suite. Other than that 5 star cleaning, fridge, microwave and space to hang a few garments not a closet. I would stay again but choose a bigger space. Unable to comment on breakfast. Nice boutique hotel. Nice Beach theme.

Super nice place a little bit of a walk from downtown (about 15 to 20 minutes) but don’t let that stop you from staying there. The value is the best in town with very friendly staff. Happy hour there is anwesome and very enjoyable. Conch Island and Diego’s are a very short walk away and perfect to end the night. It’s my go to place in Rehoboth for sure!!

The only complaint was the bed was not as comfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on an old bed that squeaked a lot every time I moved. The bed felt worn out. Otherwise, everything else was good.

It was as described and very clean. Great the owner who staffs the office. Appreciate the free water in frig!

This was our 2nd stay and was very disappointing. Be ready on the weekends for the nightclub across the street. The room was really tight, stained decorative pillows and smelled like a pile of beach towels were left behind. Damp/ stinky air even with the AC on blast.

Spacious rooms with microwave and refrigerator. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. 1 mile walk to beach where you pass numerous stores and restaurants and also close to shopping and restaurants towards the highway.

We were there on a holiday weekend when the beach was very busy, but lucked out staying here in the "private cabin" it was quiet. Everything was very nice, check in was easy and very personable by the owners. Park right in front of your unit. The breakfast was a nice perk we weren't expecting, I would say this is a hidden gem. Especially at at time the beach was very booked up. Would stay here again for sure

Music at night across the street was horrible, kept us awake for several hours. Not sure you could do anything about that, but we would probably choose not to return because of that.

Very convenient for a short stay in Rehoboth. It is an older style motel design but the rooms have been modernized very well. Our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was included. It was about a 20 minute flat walk into the main part of town but there were a number of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

This is a lovely motel/efficiency. Our cottage was adorable and nicely decorated with a beachy vibe.
The area around the property is a bit noisy (bar/nightclub across the street!), and you are a decent distance from the beach, but that wasn't much of an issue for us as we were only there one night on a trip home from VA to MA.
Staff was gone well before we arrived at 5:45, but conveniently left our key in a lock box. That was no problem. We were bummed that we missed happy hour (3-4pm!?!); as an Expedia VIP, we were also supposed to have a complimentary bottle of wine in our room but did not. I didn't say anything about that since I knew she was off premises and half an hour away. The next morning, we had to catch the 8:45 ferry so we missed breakfast. She said she would arrive by 8:00 and breakfast starts at 8:30. I asked in advance if we could have something left to go, but she said no. So, I was a little bummed about that, too.
This is a cute property with nice little perks/amenities if you're around to take advantage of them (slightly inconvenient times).
One more piece of advice: If you're very tall or large-bodied, you may NOT fit in the bathroom! We are slightly taller than average height and pretty thin, but my long-legged 14-year old son couldn't sit down on the toilet straight without his knees hitting the vanity! LOL.

Of note, this is a higher rating than I originally was going to leave this establishment. However, there are certain things that cannot be overlooked. We stayed here two years ago and had a wonderful experience, so I think this is a new owner.
Setting aside initial chaos regarding the room key situation and restocking the room, this staff has no clue how to treat people. Good customer service requires humility, graciousness, and attention to detail. After making several egregious mistakes in the beginning, I felt the owner (and her family? maid service) were actually pissed off at me. When you make a mistake, you apologize and are *nice* about it, at the least. I also don't want to know how much cable would be costing you a month. The last straw was the lack of consistent cooling at night. Every night I woke up at around 3/4am, because the cooling system would either become much weaker (not blow out cool air) or was programmed to reduce energy usage. For me, that’s a dealbreaker. I’m sorry but you cannot cut corners in this way… I’d rather have less cooling during the day, bc most people are at the beach or out-and-about, and consistently cool temps at night. Also, if you are charging boutique hotel prices, the pillows should be of high quality- not consist of two small pillows and sheet material packed tightly together to look like one long pillow. Customer service 101.
Overall, it is highly unlikely we will not be returning, and ironically, this may please the owner!

Clean, parking was convenient, and even with the big bar playing music across the street, the rooms were quiet. Our room was a little bit small in person compared to the photo but overall had a good experience and would recommend to a friend! I like that the hotel was a little bit away from the beach so you can avoid big crowds but still walk to a restaurant/coffee shop.

Cute little renovated motel. Rooms are tiny but very cute. Beds were super comfy.
Cons - hard to get out of the lot and make a left to head towards the beach because it’s just past Church St. and the traffic is brutal in that spot. We ended up going right, turning onto church and making a u turn to get back to the light to safely make a left.
I also think it’s a little pricey for location/amenities.
With that being said, I’d stay again.

Clean, beautifully decorated accommodations.
Jadene was a pleasant, helpful hostess.
The reception hour and continental breakfast were a nice touch.
While the rooms and bathroom are small, our family suite had a nice living room and kitchen area that provided more space and was very comfortable.
Conveniently located to walking/ biking paths and a the walk to the main town and beach were not far and had plenty of shopping and food options along the way.
I recommend Ocean Glass Inn for a affordable, comfortable and convenient stay in Rehobeth Beach.

This is an absolute Gem in Rehoboth Beach. We stayed for one night and really wished we could stay another just because of how lovely the environment was. Our room was clean, stock with fresh towles, water and enough blankets and pillows for everyone. The location is great and we cannot wait to return
