Wind howling through the seals of the windows tv reception was awful only one flimsy pillow on the bed and bits of rust in the kettle and rusty element made it unusable

Stayed in room 3 - needs a major make over - curtain rail fell off wall as I closed them-- took over 5 mins to get luke warm water out of shower - toilet was not even secure to floor / could feel the springs in the thin mattress on bed - Cost was only £35 for night - but still very poor even for that price

Really good for the price! The bed was very uncomfortable and instructions as to how to enter the doors should be put on each room as it's not clear.

The man who checked me in was very helpful. The room was big and bed was comfortable. Given loads of tea and Coffee in the room for your stay. Would definitely stay when if I’m in the area

No issues - cheap and cheerful which is what i wanted ... not a romantic getaway but a bed for the night then it is ok

Had asked if a hairdryer was available. No answer so luckily I took one as there wasn’t one available. No parking space available, luckily plenty on the road. Bed was ok. Decor definitely needs updating. Quiet area.

Was sent a text with codes to get in, no sign of anyone on arrival. Keep your phone on you, you'll be screwed if you don't and need something.
Light didn't work in one toilet, no toilet roll in either so had to find an alternative. Neither toilets nor shower rooms were clean enough to use and feel clean afterwards.
Granted I didnt expect an en suite for the room I booked but to try and find them in the building wasn't helpful, and I certainly hadn't planned to bring toilet roll!
The bed was so uncomfortable, feeling every spring, I wish I'd slept in my car out on the street. Im sure the bill for my chiropractor will vastly exceed what I wasted on staying here. You can hear the person next door through the wall so pray they don't snore. The curtains didn't exactly cover the window and the plug socket was loose.
The only thing I can say is you get what you pay for and I wish I hadn't. Don't waste your money!

Super convenient room for what we needed. Altho, WiFi signal didn’t quite reach our room and the full length mirror was very dirty. Water pressure in the shower was low and we could have done with a fan and a few extra coat hangers.
Overall tho, a great room with very comfortable beds and lots of space.

Stayed for one night with my friend and 3 children before going to horizons port! Room was clean, safe and had everything you needed!

The room was dirty the bathroom was mouldy. (Lack mould around shower. The bed must be at least 20 years old as you could feel every springing . We both had to sleep on the to of the covers to add a little bit of padding . This was too protect us incase you he springs came through. The carpet was so dirty we could not remove our shoes. I have photos if you would like to see them.
I only gave one star as there was no place to put no star.

Only 5 car parking spaces, had to park elsewhere, no plug in sink difficult to shave

The room was basic but clean with en-suite facilities. Access to the property is by key code, which was sent by WhatsApp after 3 pm the day of arrival. There was no direct contact with staff at or on the property.

Only good for a single night. Felt slightly unsafe in area. Put a chair against the door as main front door wouldn't close. People arguing outside throughout night. Busy road outside. So plenty of noise. Exposed areas inside room. Rubbish shower.

This property hasn't much in kerb-appeal and, to be honest, that doesn’t greatly improve once you are inside. What it does offer, however, is amazing value for money. OK, there's no breakfast but, even allowing for that, a large room with 2 double beds and a private bathroom was half the price of pretty much anywhere else.
The room was generally very clean and reasonably comfortable. One bed needed a new mattress (we told the owners) and it would have been nice to have had some pictures on the walls, and even lampshades, but it was the basic room after-all! :)
Parking is available but you are unlikely to get one of the 4 or 5 spaces if you go out for the day. That's not too much of a problem, though, as there is plenty of free-parking on the nearby side roads.
There are plenty of pubs nearby and a brilliant, if expensive, pizza restaurant down the road called 'What a Pizza!'
I stayed with my 13yr old son and he felt safe and loved his own double bed

Did what is should to the prize.

Room was a good size with own sink, no tv in the room so being entertained in the evening was difficult, screw sticking out side of bed. Okay for the average travelling buisnessman

Check in was fine there was tea and coffee all good but when it came to bed time that’s where it went down hill. Bed time come and I got in bed and after a few mins I felt something crawling on me turned the light on to fined some bugs on me and in the bed there were about 10-15 of them altogether I phoned the contact number and was put through to some body that asked me to send him some pictures so I sent him a video of them and all he could say was I’ll come to the room in the morning he came and said there was a pest control person coming at 10:30 he said that he would issue a refund but haven’t yet received it. I never slept all night. And had my daughter the following day so was so tired and only see her on every other weekend so was not happy. And I had to drive bk the same day I did ask if they had another room for the 26th to the 27th instead of a refund that way I could see my daughter then I could of gone bk and got some sleep but was told we have nothing available

The room was basic as advertised. Entrance door is a number code as the room itself. A WhatsApp message sent on the day give the code numbers. Bed seemed ok. Kettle with tea and coffee. No TV in room. No cost hangers. At of drawers available. No mirror in the room. The shower pressure was really poor and it could not be used as normal shower had to use it much lower return so water came out. Property about 20 to 30 minute walk from main Southampton and train station.

Shower and cubicle needs maintaining. Bed a little small and bouncy (fun!) Great overall for price.

Value for money. Shower clean but door doesn’t shut properly so difficult to use. No remote control for television, so had to put up with subtitles the whole stay and manually changing channels etc.

Not even a fan in the room, stifling hot still air. Lady walked into the room well after check in and had to use key to get in. Stagnant water in kettle. People who worked there were sat in the kitchen DIRECTLY below the room I was in and loudly spoke about how awful their job is woe is me and the owners are terrible until MIDNIGHT. Occasionally walking out back,(a door that led directly outside my window) to smoke and speak loudly. I couldn't close the window because it was insanely hot, so loud voices and smoke drifted up. Then they were back at it at 7:30 am sharp yelling and hollering. Terrible terrible place.

For the price you can't complain.
Room clean, plenty of tea & coffee, comfy bed.
Curtains didn't close completely, shower a bit weak but all in all, a bargain

Read the mixed reviews but certainly couldn’t fault the room we had. Very helpful at check in when I made a mistake with the code.
15 minute easy walk to the station but uphill from the station.

Stayed for 1 night in the quadruple room. We had a lovely stay, the room was a generous size and generally clean. The location is great, just a short walk to the main street with lots of options to eat and drink. Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and a toaster as well as a large fridge. The only thing missing was a tv. Parking is very limited, we managed to find a spot around the corner. The staff and service was excellent, could not fault them. Answered any questions I had quickly and when I had a bit of trouble with the keypad to get back into the room, I had immediate help and assistance. Overall for the price paid, it was excellent, would happily stay again. Thank you.

Stayed one night. Its a run down property but the on site staff responded quickly when I couldn't work out the keypad system to my room - 5 stars for the staff. For the price I was pleasantly surprised to find my room had its own shower and toilet, coffee making facilities, a tv and comfy bed. All very basic and dated, but I wasn't expecting the Ritz! It was in fact much better than I expected for the price.

This was a place to stay on a budget and met with expectations.
