Fantastic and magnificent! Totally recommended!
With 2 swimming pools!

Clean and friendly simple accommodation. Close to restaurants and beach.

WOW What a hotel. Beautiful building. clean. close to the black sand beach and all restaurants. Very nice staff. Beautiful clean comfortable rooms. Wonderful swimming pool. I Don't understand why its only 2 or 3 stars... For me, it is a 5-star hotel!

Good location, near the perivolos beach and the bus stop to Fira. Staff very friendly. But the room is not new, air conditioning very noisy and the WiFi signal is very poor. Breakfast poor too. For the value that I expanded, I don't recommend.

Great hotel. Loved how close to the beach it was.

Positives: Very welcoming staff, good beach location for the price, great air conditioning, grounds (when construction is over will look very nice with a working bar)
Negatives: Ongoing construction (will end of course), do not fully clean the room during your stay (which I found odd).
Others: Didn't try the breakfast.
Overall, I would stay here again, but not until the construction is complete.

Staff really kind, concerned about client’s well-being and satisfaction.
They adapt to the culture, language and requirements.
Besides, facilities and design are very pleasant. We are so thankful for our great stay!

Great hotel close the quiet beach of Perivolos. The only thing they need to improve (imo) is the breakfast, but you have a lot of great restaurants close by anyway.

Perfect place to start your journey in Santorni, situated near the beach of Perivolos. The hotel has a bus stop and supermarket nearby and many restaurants and bars. At the reception we could rent a car and reserve a trip to the Volcano. The room was ok, only the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Enjoyed the hotel but it's money here and money there.
Breakfast blows.
Had bugs in room one night and no one seemed to care.
Pool great

Great location, very close to the beach but away from any loud music nights in restaurants. Good size rooms and a great breakfast selection.

The staff at this hotel are lovely. They are welcoming - even at 7 in the morning when check in isn't until 2pm. The hotel is clean and you have use of two swimming pools, a whirlpool and some water jets. Towels and shower gel are provided. My only (very minor) observation is that we couldn't turn the air con off if we wanted to put the lights on. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful holiday despite the shabbiness of our hotel. The staff were very nice. Linen and towels changed regularly, attractive exterior, lovely blue pools. Sadly, the whole place is in need of a complete refurbishment. One of the pools floors had large broken pieces in the shallow part (dangerous), and several 'bald' patches. The wooden handrail to our room was rotton (chunk fell out during our stay). There was only one sun Brolly by the pool, very little shade. You only got served at the bar room if you stood there a while and hoped a member of staff would see you. The hot and cold water was reversed in our room, which meant that the toilet flushed with (very) hot water, so when sat on the loo your nether regions got a steam bath, the seat was warm and the cistern behind gave an instant sauna! There was a very nasty, rusty, broken metal door fastener(?) on the floor between the balcony doors which could be extremely dangerous if you kept both doors open. The AC was poor, not possible to adjust, and even after asking to have it set colder, felt no difference. We had a 'maisonette', but it was too hot to sleep on the mezzanine so we resorted to the single beds downstairs, which actually were more comfortable..If you like an English breakfast there is only scrambled egg (one batch which, quickly gone), bits of fatty bacon and Greek sausage, very fatty and tastes of liver! These you have to reheat in microwave, make your own toast and spread with Margarine! Very sad.

Spent a lovely week in the Iliada. Two great pools that always seemed to be empty. Lovely staff who were more than happy to help with anything. Room was spacious and cleaned everyday. Air con and safe were free to use. Close to the amazing black beach and lots of lovely restaurants. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for somewhere quiet but close to the beach/restaurants and bars.

We stayed two weeks so saw all aspects of the accommodation . It's situated about 2 mins from beach on edge of developments ,the area still has some of the old unspoilt look about it but there's no high rise nasty resorts happening yet. The hotel is new looks great welcoming pool areas very quiet in late June. The rooms a bit dark and not balcony to really sit on and chill as your cheek by jowl with neighbours. The breakfast was interesting cold fried eggs and hot trays without any burners but that might be that you shouldn't expect a fry up. We didn't starve and got a reasonable meal. The staff were great they were very helpful and resolved any issues. The rooms were cleaned, the pools were immaculate and there was always someone on reception but not the bar.
We had a great two weeks without car hire managing to see most of the beautiful island with ease . Yes we would recommend Illada for a relaxing ,well look after and comfortable break.

Breakfast was mediocre.

We stayed late August and struggled with the heat especially in the room during the night even with the air conditioning on. The breakfast is very basic and an option I wouldn't take if cheaper to exclude. The two hotel pools are fantastic and despite it being August we had plenty of afternoons where we had the pool just for ourselves. It is a very short walk to the beach - around 5 minutes. There is also a bus stop equally close to the hotel which has a bus which takes around 30 minutes to take you to the (expensive) other side of the island. This part of the island is less touristy so prices in restaurants more reasonable. Be prepared for the heat which is why I recommend this hotel for the pools. I also recommend taking small battery powered fans for use in the bedroom as the air conditioning wasn't powerful enough. I noticed other europeans not sweating anything like as much as us so perhaps it was due to us being from a cold country (the uk).

The people were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, comfy and well kept. There was also two pools, which was great. I'm not sure why it's only a 2 star, it was lovely.
