Villa Ines is built on a stretch of high coast located between the state road and the sea. It is nestled within the green of lush Mediterranean vegetation and the blue of the sea and the sky.
When you step onto its terraces, you will see stretched out before you nothing but the sun, the sky and the sea. To the horizon on your right, looking out over the sea, you can trace the “M”-shaped outline of the islands known as “Li Galli," and, to the left, the magnificent scenery of a stretch of coastline that is among the most fascinating areas of the Amalfi Coast.
On this side, the coast is made up of small promontories, on which small clusters of white houses are scattered, interspersed with enchanting inlets and small beaches, in a half-moon shape carved out of the richly-verdant coastline.
If you look down below, while leaning against the railing of your terrace, you will see a stretch of verdant coast which seems to plunge into the sea.
You will feel privileged to be at the heart of such beauty—it will lift your heart and infuse you with the sheer joy of being alive!
Best of all, you will carry this feeling in your heart well beyond the end of your holiday.
The sunset and the evening that follows hold still more fascinating moments in store for you. From the terraces of Villa Ines, when evening falls, you will see the moon rise, enormous at first as it peers above the coastline, then becoming smaller and brighter as it climbs higher in the sky and reflects on the sea. By this time, the coast and the sea are full of twinkling lights.
When the moon is full, the spectacle is incomparable—and you can enjoy it from your discreetly-illuminated terrace while dining under the stars.
Villa Ines is situated in a complex of vacation villas that fan along the back of a cape that overhangs the sea. The complex extends across a few acres of coastline, and is situated at one of the most panoramic and strikingly beautiful points of the coast.
Slightly above the complex, is the level of the coast road, and from here down to the sea there is a slope of about 200 meters (650 feet). Looking down from the road, you can see gardens set out on irregular terraces that hug the shape of the coastline, and then, further down towards the sea, the full luxury of the Mediterranean flowers and greenery.
In the midst of these gardens, you can see here and there the terracotta-paved terraces of the villas with their sun-lounging beds and their urns overflowing with red bougainvillea. The buildings are well hidden among the greenery, and all that can be seen either from above or from the sea are the terraces. The complex is made up of a number of vacation villas, each one completely independent of the others and hidden in the greenery.
Access to this entire area is reserved to the guests of the villas.

The views of the Amalfi coast from Villa Ines are outstanding. The accommodations are comfortable and attractive.
The funicular transports you to within 30 steps of the villa, and also to the elevator that goes down to the beach.
Summer In Italy have an excellent operation and are very considerate of the client's needs. The newsletters are very informative and entertaining.

To far from the center
The property was very clean and views were beautiful. The shower was to small. My only complaint was no beach to lay on or to swim in the water or to walk into the water. Very rocky. There was no bus stop to take to downtown and the taxi ride was 25.00 dollars each way. It's next to Hotel Agavi and unless you can afford to stay there, there are no services except they will call the taxi and you can have breakfast at the hotel.

Great place in Positano! Sparkling clean... check in made very easy by host meeting us and explaining how to get around etc....
Was such a bonus to have access to a private beach with lift down to it. Beaches are packed in Positano / we spent the whole day with only our family on this beautiful beach. Access to Michelin restaurant was perfect too for breakfast in the mornings / reasonably priced and amazing.
Thoroughly recommend this place. We spent the 4 days exclaiming how lucky we were to find it.
Great great value for money!

I was staying in Villa Ines for the second time
I was staying in Villa Ines for the second time. Nice little house where you can find everything for a comfortable stay in Positano.
The best of it - it is on territory of a complex of vacation villas with all the comforts that can give you - security, restaurants, transportation. There is a funicular and a lift to the private beach, which is very unique for Positano.
Positano is a pretty difficult town, it is on the hills and you have to walk a lot of steps up and down. Location of Villa Ines is perfect for that matter. You can get to the beaches (besides that you have a direct access to the sea and to a beach) and center of the town easier than from other places that are high on the hills (but the higher you are the better are the views).
Summer in Italy is the best of the best. I am having business with this company since 2013, they never disappointed me. Fast responses always, always there for you, you can call, you can text, you can WhatsApp or e-mail, they will respond right away and solve all problems if you have any on your trip. I am pretty difficult person in a way that I do not make plans in advance and sometimes changing my plans last moment, but it's not a problem with Summer In Italy, they will find decision right away. Want to thank Andrea, Anita and Luca for being so professional.

Villa Ines was beautiful and perfect with an unforgettable view
Villa Ines was beautiful and perfect with an unforgettable view. My wife and I were there for a few days and we throughly enjoyed the villa.
It is a 20 mins walk with a beautiful view on the way down to the center. The villa has direct access to the sea and to a beach and a restaurant that shares with the other guests staying at the complex. You can swim, eat food and drink. There is also a water taxi right by the beach that will take you to the city center harbor for 10 Euro per person. The water taxi operates if the water is not rough.
I definitely recommend this place and I will come back again and again. Our host was waiting for us and helped us to get to the villa. He explained everything that was needed to know about the villa and the area. We just want to thank the owner for allowing us to stay in his villa and providing all the necessities to make our stay pleasant.
Summer In Italy has become my secret love. I booked because of great people I was dealing during my booking, like Luca. Keep it the same and you will do fine.

Paradise
This place was great for getting away from the fray of the busy downtown area of Positano. It's connected to Le Agavi Hotel which has its own private funicular that brings you down to a private beach. The beach is beautiful! That being said, the apartment is pretty far from the city center. We relied on buses to get us down there and it was quite inconvenient because the buses were never on time it rarely showed up at the closest bus stop. Be ready for a lot of walking on a busy road and lots of stairs on this vacation. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a one-of-a-kind view, with two balconies overlooking the sea. the apartment was finished with pretty much everything we needed. It was clean and convenient. I highly recommend the family run restaurant Da Costantino. .the best meal of our stay by far! They will pick you up at the hotel entrance for free shuttle service and bring you back. Beautiful family with handmade pastas and an incredible view. Call for reservations and pickup. Ask to sit by the window. ..you won't be sorry!

Lovely stay
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It’s a little west of the main part of town but still walkable. Don’t count on services from the hotel but the people who run the vrbo are very helpful via email.

The view is beyond anything we imagined and the villa was perfect. Sometimes we cooked and other times we ventured down to the city center.

The villa was clean and comforable with amazing views!
The villa was very nice with the most amazing views from the balcony! Getting to the room with luggage was a challenge because of all of the stairs so if you have heavy luggage be prepared for a workout. The restaurants attached to the hotel/villa property are quite pricey so we went into the city center. This can also be a physical challenge because of the stairs used to get to city center. We asked for a taxi from the front desk and they had a limo type service pick us up that charged €25 to take us into the city center. So I would recommend asking for a regular taxi. We ended up shopping at local markets and making meals in the room. The gentleman that checked us into and out of the property was super sweet and accommodating. You feel like you are away from everyone else which made for a relaxing few days in Positano.

Splendid views, unit nice needs updated kitchen utensils.
We enjoyed the views, beds, and bathroom. The rooms were very clean but the coffee pot, pots and pans were dirty and no dish detergent supplied. Very few glasses, only one wine glass. We had trouble communicating with the property manager after our ferry was canceled and our arrival delayed.

Cozy Comfort with a view!
The Villa Inez was such a treat!
We stayed with our married son and his wife and so enjoyed the amenities of the property it is associated with, LeAgavi Hotel. The Funicular was so great in getting up and down the mountain. I would stay again in a heartbeat. We appreciated the property owner's manager, Giovani, who was so helpful and accommodating and the view is just out of this world. We loved spending our breakfast time together on the balcony and evenings with a glass of wine before dinner.

somewhat disappointed
the apartment was great - as described on the website. the location was horrible. would not recommend staying here if you want to be close to center of positano or any market etc. the walk to the market, wine shop, fruit stand was about 3/4 of a mile on a busy road. there is not beach access. the apartment is located on the property of a hotel which is confusing. there is no internet access.

We loved our five nights in Positano and staying in Villa Ines
We loved our five nights in Positano and staying in Villa Ines. The villa was very comfortable and we were thrilled to have two terraces with outstanding views of the water and the Amalfi coast. The two bedrooms were extremely comfortable.
There is an elevator to go down to the private beach. We took water taxis to/from Positano, which was more convenient than a bus and easier than walking.
Summer In Italy was terrific and helped us plan various parts of our trip before we left for Italy (including the purchase of tickets for the Elton John concert in Pompeii) and while we were there. We would definitely stay in this villa again and look forward to working with Summer In Italy as we vacation in other parts of Italy.

It was a wonderful villa
It was a wonderful villa! It had a funicular which meant not hauling luggage up and down hundreds of stairs! We also had access to a private beach that we could use. It was out of town enough that it was away from all the tourists, yet we could get into town without difficulty.
A very enjoyable place to stay.

We spent a fantastic week at Villa Ines
We spent a fantastic week at Villa Ines. The villa is well-equipped and the view from the balconies is stunning.
We thought Positano was the best place to stay. We walked down into town on numerous occasions and later caught the bus back up to Chiesa Nuova - from there it isn't too far uphill back to the villa.
Summer In Italy have been fantastic throughout the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to use you again, and have already recommended you to others.

Perfect perch of Positano!
Villa Ines was more than anyone could hope for. Bring perch so high overlooking the Amalfi coast was so impressive.
The two balconies were well used and it was great to have the options pending where the sun was.
The entire Villa was immaculate and well supplied. We did quite a bit of cooking and perhaps a spatula would have been helpful but we made due.
The bonus was the funicular which brought you directly to the beach. It was another world. The Hotel Agavi folks were very accommodating and set us up the first day with umbrellas. The views, the boats, the waves, the swimming...amazing.
This is not a destination for folks with any mobility concerns. We ate pasta guilt free almost everyday due to the stairs that we climbed! The stairs down to the village has 455 stairs and at first it was a big adventure and in no time - it became easier.
It is our hope to return asap! This trip will be a forever memory quantification of the return.
A must see is the Da Adolfo Restaurant. Capri and Amalfi were a short boat ride and very easy to catch at the main docks in town.
Lemons, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic, prosciutto ham are a staple along with the olives, pesto and pasta.
Thank you to Summerinitaly.com and Villa Ines for ensuring our 'home away from home ' was so comfortable.
