About this house rental
Come experience Downtown living Enjoy a beautifully restored historic Tofino home, which has been completely transformed with modern updates while preserving its timeless charm. The interior has been entirely gutted and rebuilt with new finishes and appliances which provides the perfect blend of comfort and style in a home with deep roots in Tofino’s history.
Located in a desirable, active, and central location, you’ll have access to all the best that Tofino has to offer. Located directly across the street is a sports enthusiast’s dream, with brand-new pickleball courts (we provide a couple of rackets), tennis courts, a basketball court, and a skate park for adventurous guests.
Inside, the open-concept main floor is bright and inviting, with a cozy dining nook complete with banquette seating around a large window, allowing for plenty of natural light. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts a kitchen island and additional counter space, perfect for meal prep and cooking. All appliances are new, including a dishwasher for added convenience. Adjacent to the kitchen is a comfortable sitting area, a great spot to unwind with a good book or to enjoy a board game with friends and family (there is no TV is this room).
The first bedroom is located on the main floor and features a queen-sized bed. Directly across the hall, you’ll find a shared bathroom, complete with excellent lighting and a bathtub/shower combination.
Heading up a few stairs, you'll reach the loft-style second bedroom (please note there is no bedroom door). This room is bright and airy, offering ample storage for clothes. The ensuite bathroom features a stand-up shower and new finishes.
Step outside and enjoy the wrap-around deck that features ample seating, ideal for outdoor relaxation and soaking in the fresh coastal air.
For those planning a longer stay, a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer is available.
Best of all, you can leave the car behind and explore Tofino on foot! The home’s prime location means you’re within walking distance of the town’s incredible dining options and year-round events, including farmers markets, jazz festivals, and seafood celebrations. For those seeking outdoor adventures, the downtown core serves as a gateway to various activities. Visitors can rent bikes, kayaks, or surfboards, making it easy to explore the breathtaking surroundings. Be sure to check the Tourism Tofino page for events happening during your stay!

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we have a strict occupancy limit for our cabin:
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests, including babies and infants.
Please do not submit a booking if your group exceeds this limit. If more than 4 guests arrive, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund. This policy is in place to maintain the comfort and safety of all guests.
Sorry, No pets allowed!
Minimum Stay: 2 nights min stay from September-June. 3 night min. is required for all summer bookings and Canadian statutory holidays. Exceptions may be made if the booking fills a 2-night gap.
Host Availability: If you receive a "Host unavailable" message while the calendar appears open, please contact us. We can override our booking system for gap-filling reservations during non-peak seasons or last-minute bookings.
House Rules: No Parties or Events: We strictly prohibit parties or events on the property.
Age Requirement: All guests must be at least 25 years old. Please do not request a booking for groups larger than 4 guests.
Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!
Cancellation Policy:
• During July & August, we require 60 days' notice.
• September to June, we require 30 days' notice.
• If you cancel outside of these periods, you'll receive a full refund (minus a $50.00 non refundable process fee)
• If you cancel within these time periods, the reservation is non refundable
Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate.
