Timber Post.....

Built in 1774, Timber Post is a historic colonial set on over two grassy acres of rolling farmland in quaint Hollis, New Hampshire. Removed from the hustle-and-bustle, yet conveniently located just six miles from downtown Nashua, 25 minutes to Boston-Manchester Airport, and less than an hour to Boston, Timber Post is suitable for both business and leisure travel.



Low-key and unpretentious, the property allows you to feel like yourself and leave the rest of the world behind. The entrance is via an enclosed garden, with a curved brick walk, water fountains, and a canopy of trees.

Once inside, the home's exposed hand-hewn pegged timbers, wide plank flooring, and massive center chimney fireplace exude warmth, strength, and rustic comfort. Unlike many antique colonial houses, Timber Post provides guests with ample areas for spreading out, relaxing, or socializing in the spacious Great Room, dining room, den, screened-in porch, or farmer's porch.

We offer a "Home Away from Home" feel instead of the typical "Hotel". Our first floor Gray Room for guest that have difficulties with stairs. The room has a king and two twin bed that sleeps four guests (ask for double occupancy rate). This room has a sliding door with a private patio that overlooks the back yard and gardens. This room has the original post and beam from the carrage house with its own unique charm.

Upstairs are four bright guestrooms each with their own character. The largest room upstairs "Pink Room" has a King bed and two twin features a fireplace surrounded by built-in cabinetry, and adjoins the smallest room "Blue Room" which has a Full size bed and shared bathroom, making it perfect for groups or families who wish to stay together, yet have separate quarters.

The Red Room has a queen size bed overlooking a beautiful back yard. This room has a shared bathroom in the hall.

The Green Room has a queen size bed with 4 bright windows and has a en room bath. This room has 4 large windows overlooking the side and front yard.
