About this house rental

Nestled within 20 acres of the picturesque Tamar Valley, this woodland lodge offers friends or family the chance to live among the trees with its reverse-level layout elevating you into the leafy canopy. Take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub or make the most of the on-site amenities to enhance the convenience of your stay. Step inside and be greeted by a hallway leading to three inviting bedrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom offers twin beds that can be converted into a super-king-size upon request. A wonderful double bedroom awaits, with a convenient en-suite Jack-and-Jill bathroom and French doors leading out to the garden. The third bedroom, also a twin, can be transformed into a king-size on request. A shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, discover the delightful lounge/diner, where cosy seating surrounds the TV, offering a perfect spot for a movie night. Admire the scenic views of the park and woodland while enjoying a meal at the dining table, or gather for a board game session. The light-filled kitchen is fully equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Step through the French doors onto the lovely, terraced area and dine alfresco accompanied by birdsong and the babble of the nearby stream. Hiking trails weave through the natural environment, providing opportunities to spot wildlife amidst the countryside backdrop. For thrill-seekers, Lydford Gorge (11 miles) offers the exhilarating experience of tree surfing, with high rope bridges and zip wires adding to the excitement. There’s also wooden sculptures to discover and a magnificent 30-meter waterfall, while children can engage in activities like exploring the Devil''s Cauldron and building dens. Venture to the charming market town of Tavistock (8.5 miles) or the Tamar Trails Centre (6 miles), and for a day at the seaside, the golden shores of Whitsand Bay await (20 miles).
