close to where we had been for a church event, so not far to drive. lovely big space, but hard to heat because of that.
nice to have a kitchenette and atmosphere of a log fire.
$15 firewood didn't go very far and wasn't effective in heating the room.
very cold in bathroom.
branch knocking on side of room on and off most of the night .
4.5
A quiet retreat.

Great room, great property. private and beautiful space.
The only thing I would change is adding a small table and lounge chair to the room.
4.5
Lovely place to relax. Very quiet with beautiful surroundings.
No complaints at all.

We had a fantastic time over the Christmas period. The cottages were well-equipped for a short stay, and even included a hob and microwave, in the kitchen area. It's a wonderful location, especially for couples, with comfortable bed and huge bathroom, all set in beautiful gardens and just a short trip into Tamborine Mountain, itself. We met the owner who was very friendly and it's a perfect venue for wedding ceremonies. The grounds include a chapel, restaurant and the garden provides different areas for photo opportunities.
There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely, clean cottage in a gorgeous and quiet setting. The staff were very helpful.

Loved the private cottages. Very cosy and clean.
2.5
We love the secluded location and it's close proximity to restaurants.
Unfortunately the accommodation wasn't very clean. There was long black hair all over the bathroom and sheets/towels and mould in the shower. It was a real turn off for us. They also only provided 1 roll of toilet paper which we ran out of.

Staff were lovely
Beautiful gardens and surroundings
Complimentary items were good.
A little tired

Everything. The gardens, the cottage and the facilities were great.
It would be perfect if the windows/doors had flyscreens to let in the beautiful breeze without any risk of letting in bugs.

Loved the slow combustion fireplace, large bath, beautiful outlook, very quiet, stunning grounds, great location not far from town and also close to a nice rain forest walk. We also struck perfect weather while we were there which added to the pleasure, but with the lovely setting and plenty of nice restaurants and other indoor things to do on the mountain, I'm sure we would have had a great time even if the weather was not so good.
There was no table in the chalet (except a very small round outdoor table which was damp due to the recent rain), and while we ate most meals out, we would have liked a table to do some writing at etc. The reverse cycle air con was also not very effective, which was OK because we were happy to purchase wood for the fire for heating, but not sure how it would go as the only means of cooling in summer.
3.5
It was a quiet location with established gardens. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was clean. When we noticed the remote control for the tv was missing (after hours) we were able to get it replaced quickly. The fire place was great for warming the room.
The cottage was poorly organised regarding placement of furniture. There was no table to eat at inside. Light came in through the high windows so it was impossible to sleep in. The fittings were dated. The small fridge was crammed full with the mini bar stocks, so there was very little space for our food. Wood for the fire was $10 per bag. There were no instructions or manual as you would normally expect in rental accommodation. It was a bit cluttered and there was no place for bags or drawers. For the price, we expected more.

Cabin was so well presented and smelt amazing.
Nothing
4.5
Lovely room and facilities, beautiful atmosphere and the fireplace and double bath are amazing
No bath mat or indoor table for eating at which was a bit odd really, and no covering on the outdoor deck. Trees could use a trim so you can see past them for the view
3.5
Gardens looked beautiful and well maintained. Obviously it was closed due to Covid for a period because of the green algae on the cabin outside walls near front door. The timber flooring at front entry has weathered and needs repainting otherwise lay out was great.
Due of the time it was not vacant it could have had some maintenance done to these areas.
The young lady was very accommodating and pleasant in assisting us with accommodation.

Beautiful gardens and location, lovely staff
The huge upper window didn’t have any curtains or blinds, so the sun streamed in in the morning and we couldn’t have a proper sleep-in! A real pity, given we were there for a kid-free retreat. Given the price range and how it is marketed as a couples/honeymoon retreat, the facilities could do with an upgrade and perhaps a lick of paint.

It was peaceful and quiet. The cabin was beautifully set up. It was the perfect romantic getaway.
Curtain on the top window and extra towels could be in the room or easier to access
2.5
Staff were extremely nice and helpful, room was of large size, kitchen was well equipped for this style of accomodation. Grounds an d surrounds were well kept.
Room was well appointed but considerably overpriced in our opinion. We have stayed in superior accomodation for less cost. Expected a view from the Booking.com website whereas there was none. Nowhere to sit and eat in the unit. We had to drag the balcony furniture into the unit in order to have a table to eat.

The place is very quite, we had a very good night sleep. The surrounding trees makes me connect much with nature.
Unable to use bath with foam.

WiFi was out of range of our cottage, but it was a new system and they said they'd get their IT guy on it.
