The apartment helped make our vacation a great one

The apartment is very comfortable and has an excellent size that allows you to enjoy the vacation. The apartment owner is amiable and tries very hard to help in anything that makes the guest happier.

Superb

The host was absolutely nice and welcoming! He gave us some insights on the transportation, facilities, restaurants, etc. There is a lovely terrace with the room. The accommodation was tidy and with utilities to make you feel at home.

The location of the accommodation is excellent - very close to the train station, 10 min trip to Cologne's cathedral. It is however in the outskirts of the city so if you are for a city break trip - perhaps not the best location.

Comfortabke and convenient.

comfortable, everything we needed was provided including a welcome beer! Loved the balcony. the owner is delightful and informative. great to chat to. transport nearby, pub next door, supermarket 2 mins away.

Good and clean appartement with a nice host

Absolutely amazing appartment in Cologne. Very friendly host who explained everthing and gave lots of options and suggestions on things to eat, do and visit during our stay. Parking is possible very close by for free. Supermarket only a couple of meters away. Everything was clean. Even some beer and wine in the fridge cold and ready to drink when we arrived. Definitely recommend!

Transport to the city centre. I think we were a bit unlucky. First evening we weren't able to make it back by train to the appartment. We took a taxi back as it is quite a walking distance. Second day we barely made it to the city centre. Same for our way back. We decided to rent some bikes from KVBike which made it much easier. Location overall is good, just unlucky as said before.

Exceptional value for money

Very spacious apartment. Well equiped kitchen. 5min walk from train station - with clear instructions on how to travel into the city and back. Private parking was a bonus. Host was very friendly and accommodating.

Everything was great. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location, close to the subway. There is a supermarket nearby. Very clean.

In winter, the floor of the room was cold, slippers in the room would not hurt. But everything else is fine!

A very warm welcome awaited our arrival in Colgne. The appartment was well equipped, and little extras like some chocolate bars, beer and wine were nice touches. The area was quiet (apart from the occasional plane landing at Cologne-Bonn airport about 10km away).

The location is very close to the S bahn with transport into the city. Around the corner a supermarkt and a great little restaurant for a great schnitzel.

It was a great stay. The appartement was built in the 80's and the interior is of that age as well. So authentic. 12345666

This is a lovely apartment , close to amenities,, a short walk to the train station. Coffee, tea, wine and beer all supplied by Hergen the host when we arrived. We highly recommend staying here❤️

Out side the city centre but within easy reach of the centre by underground and S ban Simple accomodation which we found to be comfortable, clean and had all what we needed. Good places for simple bars which are a lot cheaper than the centre. I will use this place again

The best homestay you can find in Cologne

The house is really well-equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable, and the owner also thoughtfully prepared extra things such as ear plugs and ice cube in the refrigerator to make the stay even better. The house's location is very good- close to different means of transportation. It's a quiet community too, so it's a really good choice if you are exploring the city during the day and need a good sleep at night. Everything about this house is perfect, and the owner Mr. Hergen is a very friendly, supportive and cheerful person too. Will definitely come back if I come to Cologne again.

Perfect

This place is a very clean and comfortable apartment. And if you stay with your collegue, you can prefer this apartment instead of two seperate rooms in a hotel. Because it is clean, it has two rooms, it has a kitchen. The hotel owner Mr. Hergen is a very kind person. He leaves some beverages becAuse we checked in very late. I visited köln to join A fair in kölnmesse. The apartment is 20min away by walk. İf you dont want to walk, train station is 5min away. The hotel location is not in the city center but köln is not big city and by public transportation, you can reach anywhere within 20 min.

Great Place, Great Owner

Hergen is an awsome person, very talkative, cheerful, loving to help about anything . The place is very clear till depth, very cheerful, relaxing, sooo much comfortable, easy to reach by tram and train, there is also bus stop close to place which I don't prefer. The environment of the place has some good restaurants and markets. It was really a great experience as a result. I'll suggest everyone...

You want an apartment in Cologne and you dont want the hassle of the city centre, the perfect place

the place was really nice, with a parking spot and with a restaurant next to the home, Hergen was an epic host, he provided all the info and help needed, all well explained. I have to say it was really clean apartment with a nice balcony and loads of space, pretty confy and warm. would repeat for sure if I go again to Cologne

that I couldnt stay more days ;D, all was perfect honestly. Cant tell anything bad from the stay

Great stay for a few days.

Good location near the train station to quickly get around the city. Host was very friendly and had some good tips. Superb value for money.

Beds were a little hard (like almost everywhere in Germany).

Super friendly host, great location with supermarket netto closeby as well as the u- and s-bahn (just 3 stops to the city centre), spacious

German pillows are quite soft and some nights there are a lot of airplanes. Earplugs are provided though

Very cosy appartment with parking and awesome view!

Exceptionally clean spacious appartment , not far from the centre. Just 3 stops by S- bahn or probably 30 mins by walk. Breathtaking view of the church. Comfortable beds. Small kitchen tottally equiped for cooking and eating. Free parking. Netto supermarket 1 minute walking distance. Extremely friendly and hospitable owner( thank you very much!).Very good feeling in this appartment, we would stay there for a month. The best place to stay in Koln!

Quiet and peaceful

On arrival to the room, Herger (host) had a few beers, water and chocolate waiting for us. That was definitely a nice touch. In the room there was a electric kettle and several supplies of coffee and tea.
