Exceptional

The staff were very helpful, friendly and kind. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good also,the cook the so kind and helpful as I would ask question after question.

The sitting room could be bigger, a place to go and relax and mingle with people

Restful.

The lady in the breakfast room is the nicest person and so very helpful. If I was here employer, I would give her a raise. I have met her before on our way through to Nova Scotia and never been disappointed.

Although the room came with a coffeemaker, cups, and coffee/tea, there was no sugar or cream for the coffee but we weren't too worried as it did come with a great continental breakfast. Other people may want the sugar/cream in the room

The room was adequate but some colour Or other steps to spruce it up would be welcome

Only one bedside reading light was a problem for us. This could easily be fixed by replacing the wardrobe with hooks and then adding a bedside table and lamp or by mounting a reading light on the wall.

Comfortable, clean and cheap basic accomodation.

Very clean. Cheap accomodation. Comfortable. Park outside the room with direct access to car to unload etc. Included breakfast was simple and satisfactory. Nice staff. In-room coffee facilities. Good TV. Would stay again.

Not much to dislike at this price point. On the edge of town just off the highway so you need a car if you want to visit 'town proper'.

Very good

Staff were friendly and smiling. The organization and administrative work of the hotel was very efficient. They got everything prepared including the room keys and you only needed to put down your signature for check-in. So the check-in process only took a minute. The check-out was also efficient because the statements were inserted into your room early in the morning. Also this was one of the only two hotels during our 11 day trip, which knew that we were the same group and put our three rooms next to each other.

Convenient stopping place in our journey from Nova Scotia to Ontario.

Disappointing. The reason was mainly due to the timing. It was the morning of the Labour Day Monday and lots of guests were departing early. The breakfast room was too small, crowded and a frustrating long wait. The room was clean and of a good size. I left a jacket in my room and the receptionist was helpful in arranging to return it. It remains to be seen if the hotel follows through.

they charged me extra $100 in advance just in case kids would break something. I never had that except in Quebec. And I love Quebec.

Very disappointed.

Check out staff were amazing.

We had requested special needs. It was ignored and our room had to be changed upon checkin. The fridge had more than a hundred ants. We were told “well, it’s that time of year. “
