Not the quality of service and attention a customer should get for the high price paid

Broken lock on bathroom door and dirty screens were not cleaned despite more than one complaint about them. When the maintenance man did come, he left his WD40 in the bathroom which was a hazard for our children!

Beautiful hotel, management would never reply to a cancellation and still tried to charge me.

The hotel and room was wonderful and clean with a great view of Ontario Lake. Best breakfast ever!

I accidentally made reservations with the wrong dates. We came in a week early and they told me I had made a mistake on the dates. I emailed many times and they never responded and still tried to charge me for the wrong dates even though I stayed with them and explained the situation. So I actually canceled those reservations a week earlier but they still tried to charge my card.

Very good

Rooms are big, spacious, clean, and well equipped. There was complementary weekend breakfast which was surprisingly good. The location of the hotel is great, with nice views right on the waterfront and a short walk to gelato shops and restaurants and sights. Staff very efficient, informative, and helpful.

Room was a little tired and dated. Otherwise would be perfect.

Perfect stay, highly recommend.

Great location, amazing room and friendly staff. Super clean and cozy. Used the kitchen to prepare snacks. Best breakfast and most comfy beds hands down. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

A comfortable stay

Complimentary breakfast was a hoot and a half. Really loved the extra care for any requests made. They can do grocery shopping for you when you go out to enjoy the sights.

Fantastic location on waterfront. Dated hotel, but fine for families with dogs.

Great location, right on waterfront trail. Suite was large enough, but really old/dated. Free breakfast was great. Able to sit outside for breakfast in patio.

We were charged for parking for 2 nights, yet clearly had communicated to staff at reception that we had arrived by taxi from train. He repeated “so no car to park…” and then we were charged $34 per night anyway. Got that reversed. Lots (LOTS) of dogs at this hotel, including big dogs in elevator etc. We love dogs, but we’re surprised…took the stairs because one guest had 2 large dogs and would take them in elevator from 5th floor. Wouldn’t want to be enclosed in elevator with dogs that might not be well trained…

Great stay, will stay here again the next time we are in Kingston overnight. Would recommend to all.

Loved the large suite style room, great easy parking, friendly quick check in, the indoor pool / hot tub was fantastic, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, extremely close to Kingston Downtown Waterfront area, walked to a lovely restaurant for dinner. Perfect stay.

Review of Hotel

Really like the one bedroom suite. Room was very clean and comfortable. Liked the location.

Didn't like that there was no carts in the indoor parking in basement. I had to go back up to the front lobby to get a cart to bring to the basement garage. Was difficult to get the cart through the doors to basement parking. Would have been better to unload the car at the roundabout outside the main entrance. Also had difficulty with the parking scanner at the entrance to indoor parking. It was frozen with freezing rain. I pressed the button for help and no one answered. So I had to scrape and clear off the freezing rain from the scanner for it to work as the staff didnt check to see if the scanner was functional and to make sure to clear the ice off the scanner. The morning of our departure, I received a receipt from the hotel by email that the room was charged on my credit card. I was still at the hotel and I didnt even checked-out yet since check out time was at noon. I checked with the clerk at reception and he told me they did not charge the credit card. I paid cash around 930am.. Check out time was noon. So we had time to go for breakfast at the hotel and while we were at breakfast a lady from the hotel went to inspect our room. The clerk at reception didn't ask if we were checking out right away or at noon and indicated gone in the system . During breakfast, we put our coffee and juice at a table and went to get our breakfast. When I returned to the table, the bus boy was clearing our table. I asked what he was doing and he said he was clearing our table and had removed our utensils etc. I told him we haven't even started our breakfast yet and that we just set our coffee at the table so we could get our food. Found the breakfast area disruptive with kids running around the tables. Not very relaxing. The room next to ours was noisy with crying kids in middle of night and morning. Overall, found the young staff to be inattentive.

It is a great place to stay when we visit Kingston.

the employee who worked at front desk is the one of the reasons why o will be back.

it took little bit longer to get the blanket and sheet. There was no plastic bag in all of the garbage bins.
