Location is excellent. Staff is very helpful.
Facility is too old. Smell moldy. Window AC is very noisy and works poorly.

The stay was truly amazing! Amelie is a great host, and the hotel provides a very comfortable stay in Quebec city.

Le côté grande maison familiale a la hercule poirot .merci la première nuit la chambre ne convenait moins bien à cause de mon etat de santé problèmes lombaire mais tout à été rectifiée avec le sourire et amabilité.

Great Location. Excellent value for money. Communication was good. Amelie was great.
Doors into passage not insulated so loud guests across passage were very loud!
4.3
Excellent location. Clean facilities.
Parking may get problematic. Make sure to clarify at check in.

great location and wonderful responsive staff
room was on 4th floor. Luckily staff brought luggage to our room
4.3
bed comfortable and clean Room was clean and the view was great. Location was perfect on the boardwalk and the port and within all the center of the city.
no balcony to enjoy the view staying on the 4th floor with no elevator limited the times we went in and out. Room was stuffed and dry and there was a old smell to it. Parking was not included in the reservation.
4.3
The location was terrific, just off the promenade, with fabulous view of the river and surrounding hills. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
There is no elevator, it is a very old building nearing 200 years so that was expected. So you do have to carry your baggage. Glad we were on the second floor and not the third.
4.3
proximity to everything. reasonable rates. parking onsite for a fee but also reasonable.
my room didn’t have a view of anything but probably my fault for not paying more.
4.3
It is a very quaint and old-fashioned hotel with a lot of character. It is situated perfectly to explore the Old Town of Québec and the staff were very nice. The wifi was great.
4.3
Charming and classic hotel with lovely staff, unbeatable location, and great air conditioning.

Great staff. Great location. Room comfortable
Breakfast very limited. No lift.

I booked this stay for my cousin who was in Québec for her vacation and these are her thoughts: "The location was amazing. The staff was very friendly, made me feel at home. The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were very comfy". Highly recommend!

excellent location
We asked for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor and were given a room on the 4th floor. Breakfast was in a basket in the fridge. Muffins ok but rice crispy treats and cookies for breakfast seems a little unusual.
4.3
Location, service and atmosphere. Jean Francois is an awesome host!
No breakfast but no big deal as there were plenty options nearby
4.3
Wonderful staff. Great location, a couple steps away from the Dufferin terrace. Beautiful view, right by the chateau Frontenac.
Nothing

nothing :)

Great location. They also had parking.

Excellent location, next to Chateau Frontenac and in front of Terrace Dufferin. The staff is really helpful.

The building is a very cute 180 years old house, very well maintained. The staff is friendly and was very flexible with my check out needs. Coffee, cream, tea and muffins were included. The place was very clean, and the location is the best possible in Quebec City, at the very heart of the historical region.
Because it's an old house, architecture is a bit odd, and I'm guessing staircases inside the bedrooms are not the most accessible to those with disabilities (but I haven't checked myself if there are alternatives rooms without staircases, so please double check this information). Except for that, no complaints at all, everything was clean and perfect.

The view was amazing!
The room was rather spacious and the whole hotel was quite cozy.
The staff was super friendly.
The hotel didn't have an elevator, and the desk was not very comfortable to work in (If I remember correctly it didn't had any outlets nearby, so I had to work in the small table at the room instead which wasn't bad either).

The blanket is too warm
Beautiful scenic location
Very clean
Beautiful 180 years old lady

Location was good. However, there were many stairs in the neighborhood, so it was a bit difficult to carry a stroller.
It would have been nice if a hair dryer was provided.
4.3
We've loved our room. The hotel is a little bit old, but the view, location and staff pay off. We definitely recommend this hotel.
4.3
Unbelievable location, probably the best spot in Quebec City. The owner is so friendly and accommodating, and as an English speaker with poor French I felt very welcome.
4.3
The location was perfect and the designated parking lot was very organized as well. The bed was very comfy even though the room was very small.
There is nothing to not like about this place - it was an awesome experience.
4.3
I love the location of this hotel. Since the Dufferin Terrace is in front of the hotel, my day always started with the views and a walk on the Dufferin Terrace. At the end of the day, when I'm all tired from all the walking - I'd sit on one of the benches on Dufferin Terrace, enjoying the view, before I go back to the hotel.
There was a peculiar smell in the room. But I'm very very sensitive to smell because of my allergies. However, it wasn't too bad and was bearable.
4.3
Location is fabulous! Close to shops, restaurants and directly across from the St. Lawrence River. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful.
The room was small and because it is an old historic building it lacks some of the modern amenities. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom and only one behind the dresser. The building does have character and the location was ideal.
