The heated outside pool was a bonus.

Nice quiet place and made my stay in Gibsons great.
it was all good.
5.0
Likes there was breakfast and pool, close to ferry
Not that clean, saw fungus growth in the AC, floors not very clean

We got a tim hortons gift certificate and it was fine
The room could have been a little cleaner
3.0
Old, dated decor. Unclean, with an odour. Unsafe electrical connections. Uncomfortable beds. Included breakfast was a coupon to a Tim Hortons two blocks away which included 3 items. Some of the item choices had a surcharge over and above the coupon. Definitely not worth the price.
7.0
Breakfast vouches to Tims was convenient.
2.0
Breakfast was tim hortons coupons
Cost was 3 times higher than previous stay. Credit card was charged prior to stay. Had to pay an extra 100 dollars for security deposit and had to pay in advance and not at checkout. Staff extremely rude and wouldn't explain why I had to pay up front for the stay. Cost was 200.oo dollars per night for a run down motel with no updates for at least 15 years. Wall in shower tiles broken. Old sink, counters and taps. Old carpets

Very acceptable place to stay, thenreakfast included was also bonus.
Look old outside, and less facilty maintenance

We really liked the pool and hot tub. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot like it should be. The pool and hot tub were the only redeeming feature of this hotel and our stay.
We liked the staff and that the front desk gave us early check in which was great as the baby needed a nap.
Breakfast: The front desk gave us a voucher to Tim Hortons, which was a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel, and each day you had to go down to get the next day voucher. We were not sure why they wouldn’t give us all the vouchers at once for each night we were staying. Stupid !
The hotel: No elevator!! We had booked a suite, unbeknownst to us it was on the second floor, and there was no elevator. We were traveling with a baby so this meant we had to lug all the baby stuff from the car to the Center of the hotel where the stairs were located, then to our room. This meant we had to lug the baby’s travel bad, travel high chair, bath chair, plus all the baby’s clothes, diapers, blankets and so on… This also meant we couldn’t use the stroller unless we took the baby out and lug it up or down the stairs. UGH!!
Our room: DIRTY! Besides the out dated hospital green walls with dark green trim and dark green carpet to match, the fold out couch was heavily stained. YEK!! We had to put a blanket on it to sit and one on the floor as if the couch looked like this we couldn’t imagine what the carpet was truly like. On top of this there was missing art above the couch but still hooks which created a lovely atmosphere (not)
At bedtime we discovered the fold out couch was very uncomfortable. Squeaky, on a slant so your feet were higher than your head and you could feel every mattress coil / spring. The next day we got a roll out cot that sunk in the middle so no better. UGH!
Noisy: the hotel has an open concept which made it noisy especially in the morning when all hotel guests went to work. Thump thump thump at 6 am, plus their loud talking not only in the morning but at night. Any noise in the hotel just carried through the it.
This is NOT a family hotel. Primarily workmen stay at this hotel. Drinking, smoking, hanging out…plus there were 3 locks on our hotel door.
Thank god we only had paid for two nights!

beds were comfortable, awesome pillows, room were very clean, check in easy nice staff
pool was closed, not disclosed at booking. the hallways are quite rundown, heat/ac was not working? maybe? it was a confusing amount of controls, slept with window open to compensate. summer prices are insane for amenities and overall appearance
6.0
Location and value.
Its decor was tired and in need of an upgrade. The curtains in our room were not only coming off the rail but had multiple threads hanging from the hems - this was the first impression of the room and not a good one.
It was a LONG walk to Tim Horton to spend the breakfast voucher.
The swimming pool was beautifully heated but also covered in leaves, seeds etc.

Location, saw a contractor working on walls around pool which is food to see, needs major face-lift
Was not greeted well, asked for cot and never received one, first room we were given was still dirty and beds unmade,as well as the drunks outside in smoking area ...not a good first impression,

Breakfast was a coupon for breakfast at Tim Horton's 3 blocks away and since we booked for 2 nights was assumed 2 breakfasts, but that was not the case only 1 given. Did expect Continental Breakfast
Bed was fine, carpet very stained.

Excellent room with comfy beds. Kitchenette attached and comfort was first class.
From outside the hotel looks very old and not appealing. Almost thought it's gonna disappoint us but the room was awesome.
