It was very clean.
One of the receptionist wasn't very friendly. She seemed to be in a bad mood all the time. The rest of the staff was great.

Not much
Very bad quality for the price. The hotel needed lots of TLC and less than a 2star rating.

It definately exceeded my expeectations. I loved the female dorm had privacy for washrooms and shower and were very clean.
I felt the location was a lil far from the village center and no food outlets nearby you only have the one within the hostel.

Rooms were clean staff friendly close to bus stop for easy access to mountain
Not the best showers

Cheap, clean, super friendly staff. They even provide towels in the room.
The hot water quite often ran out in the afternoons resulting in a cold shower after a long day snowboarding. Also the location is a bit of a pain but the public transport is super easy to use and it’s only a 15-20 minute ride.

Kitchen facilities easy to use.
Customer service slow. Very tentative but could use more staff to make the experience at the desk less sterile. Everyone was nice and friendly but you could tell they were over whelmed. Maybe utilizing one person specifically for check in and 2 people for customer service could slow down wait times. That way I don’t have to wait 20 min just to do a simple task, like rekey a card, while someone ahead of me might be doing something that takes more time. Car key system needs to upgraded. Had problems getting in my room door 4 times.

The Train hike is convenient, the bus stops are convenient. Cleaned regular and communal spaces were clean, welcoming and comfortable. 10 min walk Close to local brewery and Cafe.
Noisy, take earplugs. The dorm beds are very old and creek with slight movement. Storage space is minimal. The doors to each dorm 2 x 4 birth dorms share 1 bathroom but doors open shut all hours & are very noisy. Rooms Needs renovation and updated. The aircon did not work, I respect it takes time to cool but it was flat out broken, I asked for maintenance twice with no luck in 7 days.

Nice staff, big rooms
Kitchen as expected in a hostel
5.0 / 10.0
I liked that there was a cafe downstairs and it was nice to have access to a kitchen. Room was quiet.
The room was so hot that we had a hard time sleeping, which made for a very bad night. When we called the desk to ask for a fan, they said they didn’t have one and we had to just deal with it. I would never stay here again due to this issue. Also, the WiFi didn’t work in the room so we had to go in the hallway to use it. Room didn’t have a fridge, microwave or coffee pot (only communal areas had this. For $130usd per night, I expect better than this.

free shuttle bus to Whistler village centre. (property is about 7 kilometres away)
Nearest evening food option a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Property very basic, no frills but pricey for what was on offer.
