Short and Beautiful

Lots of space and a wonderful view. Kitchenette was large and functioning. Bar and restaurant make flavourful meals. Can’t beat a place with breakfast included. The hot tub, sauna, and pool were open and empty so no need to share the space. A luxury.

Very much bad experience even after spending hefty fees not worth it

Position of the property and the view was good

Room setup, room lights(one was not working, no elevator, reception staff were not good, rude behaviour no support, breakfast cereals were bad taste, menu was not good, toiletries were insufficient, coffee machine not working, dirty utensils provided

Really enjoyable stay

Check-in was a breeze with friendly and helpful staff on hand. Our room was well appointed, clean and free of defects. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool, spa and sauna - a most relaxing finish to the day. A good selection was offered for breakfast. The mountain views were stunning, and the inn is only a few minutes' drive to everything. Would certainly stay again!

We didn't realise that pool towels needed to be obtained from reception (many hotels provide them in the pool area) so we had to run back to our room through the cold night air in swimming clothes. Just be sure to get your pool towel first!

Great price for a decent room and great amenities.

Had an amazing view over the valley. Did room service from the restaurant and the pizza we had was great. The pool had a water slide, hot tub and sauna. All good. The price was very reasonable for the quality.

No complaints for this stay. The hotel is old, but had decent renovations.

All the necessities at a reasonable price.

The wifi is great, there was light daily housekeeping, the pool with waterslide, hot tub and sauna is a nice facility and there were always fresh towels at reception. Our room faced across the valley for a great view, and we had easy access to our vehicle. Keurig coffee pods were provided for the room, including decaf. The reception lent us scissors while we needed them for a game. As a side sleeper, I was very happy with the fluffy pillows rather than the flat pancakes we often find at hotels. Hot breakfast was included and had a good variety of options.

The breakfast was meant to be easy for the staff, so they only provide plastic cutlery, paper cups, etc. Just plates are washed. The hot food is clearly frozen and just baked in the oven - like hash browns and canned baked beans, store-bought bulk muffins, eggo waffles. The furniture in the room is very dated, with mismatched chairs and squeaking bed springs. I suspect the toaster in our kitchenette is as old as I am, and I had to go to reception to ask for more spoons and mugs so we would have a set of 4 for the family to eat. Since it was Family day weekend it was quite busy, and we had some noisy skiers partying next door in the evenings as well. It is a bit of a drive down to Golden and then up to Kickinghorse and Dawn Mountain for skiing, but that didn’t bother us.

Did not meet my exception. Hotel needs to improve its service staff and facilities.

The view from the room. Free breakfast provided. Location is easily accessible. Not much traffic on the main access road. Offers lots of parking space.

Short staffed. Staff was not accommodating, would not even try to work out request and make the guest stay comfortable. They just give an answer its our "policy". The room is not as clean nor updated as I expected. The AC used to heat the room is so noisy. Room sound insulation is poor, could hear people running on the hallway. Facilites is not as clean as it should be.

Not a great area to walk my dog. The room was very “dog friendly” so it felt very clinical and not homey at all. No restaurants/food in walking distance.

Could hear people going up and down stairs. Bathroom had no fan. Water pressure in shower was low.
