location; staff was very helpful
noisy bunk bed

Great location, clean and dry facility, friendly staff. You can leave your luggage with them for a few hours after you leave the room. The kitchen/lounge has a lot of light and is a nice spot for mingling.
Of the two bathrooms, one had very old showers that drained very poorly. The other was great, though.

The location and price are great. Easy access to the city and transports. Commodities are good and great many food stalls nearby. Staffs at the reception are friendly and helpful. The kitchen is clean and has a decent supply of cutleries.
Bar below is loud and I didn't like the heavy smell of alcohol going in and out. Hope they had separate entrances. The wash basin is too small in the bathroom and as a result pool of water around with use by multiple people many times. I didn't like the cleaning staff making fun of residents leaving the bathroom wet as it's virtually impossible if you want to freshen up properly with that small wash basin. Only two power outlets in the room and as you more often than not will use an adapter, impossible to use by two people simultaneously. I stayed in the double-shared female room.

Great location. Great having pub below. Super clean bathrooms.
We had the private bunk bed with shared bathroom. Bed was super comfy. Staff was soooo nice !!
Paying $200 for a room with shared bathroom was nuts. But I guess we are in the heart of Vancouver.

Location was good and staff were nice
I saw a baby mouse in the kitchen and a full grown mouse in my dorm room. The hostel appeared clean but clearly have a mouse problem.

Location to downtown and cruise port
Although they tell you, there’s no AC Vancouver is too hot and humid and this hotel is surrounded by other large buildings and has tiny windows get an air conditioning system. This hotel was like staying in sauna , could not sleep

Located in the city center, very conveniently located to lots of organisations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were well cleaned.
Downtown Vancouver was very busy, full of people but I guess this is expected :)

Great central location.
Really noisy at night with police sirens and street noise.

The location is good, the staffs are very kind and like to help with any requests
The room is sweltering, with only one power point in the corner. It is very noisy inside the building and outside on the street...

Location, friendliness of staff, comfortable bed, cozy bedding, clean bathrooms
Perhaps another electrical outlet or bunk light in room. Room was basic as expected.

Location is perfect. Very clean kitchen and common room. The access are secure and the staff is very helpful.
Beds and room are very basic and small but it's functionnal. It's right above a pub and it can be very noisy at night but after midnight, it's quiet again. Bring ear plug and you should be fine!

Bed was comfortable, good for a nights stay. Location was great for downtown. Malone's Bar was fun.
Cleaning standard could have been better.

It is downtown and close to the subway.
The rest. Old. It needs a complete renovation. The worst hostel I’ve been.

I saw a rat in the kitchen. There was also a leak from the ceiling in the ladies' washrooms on 2nd floor.

Cost, central, staff bed are confy
Bunk bed iron ladder is very hard to use.
I am not any more young, so it was difficult to get up and down.maybe a slope with steps would help.

dirty, leaky bathrooms

This was quite cheap. I only wanted to keep my stuff safe and sleep for two hours because of my travel plans. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly.
My room was right above a bar. So, I was shaken by the bass of the music all night. There is NO amenity: not having lockers available for people is (sorry but) not acceptable for a hostel. The kitchen was so small, it only fit 3 people on the tables, because we weren’t hanging out together. Especially if you’re not allowing people to eat in the rooms, you should have some space to eat. When you check in, you get 4 identical keys: for you room, bathroom, and god knows what the others were for. I don’t know where on earth having to touch every surface, and try to separate 4 identical keys from each other at least twice every time I wanted to use the bathroom can be considered normal, but at this hostel it apparently is normal. the beds and pillows were paper thin and guess what? they were also dirty as there was make up remains on my supposedly new pillow cover.

Not one thing about this place can honestly be rated at 1, if there’s a 0 or negative rating then that would be an honest review.
Staff (drug addicts), facilities, discomfort, location, cleanliness, value, safety, disrespect and racism.

I didn't like when I got there they cancelled my reservation for no reason. They told me to call back and I did and they did not answer. I then left a message and they did not respond to that.

The location and the room was clean.
The shared toilets were always closed and I didn’t have a key to use them. People was going in and out all night.
