The location was beautiful but once you got into the hotel it was like a construction site.

The best thing about the property was the location

The room we had smelled like feet, when trying to take a shower the tub got clogged no one never fixed it the whole time we were there so we had to wash up in the shower. The construction crew had items everywhere including outside in the parking lot, when trying to park or leave we had to wait several minutes until they decided to move there items from the parking lot street. Housekeeping never came to refresh the room, overall I wish I could be refunded since I could barely take a shower or bath.

Good location, comfy bed, great staff!

Proximity to the arena for events. The fact that they accept pets. The check in staff were extremely nice and helpful.

They did not inform in advance that they were under construction. When I arrived it was literally surrounded by construction trucks. There was some noise due to the construction although it stopped at a decent time. You could not use the main lobby and had to enter through a side door. Still, they did their best to make check in smooth despite a small crowded hallway being used as check in area.

Once we complained about the first room they installed put us into a fully renovated room which was very nice

Newly Renovated Room after we complained about the first room they gave us. Staff was friendly

First room they put us in the bathroom was filthy mild in tub area. Sleeping area had dirty carpet and dusty walls. Tried to use the pool but it hadn’t been cleaned Dirt inside the pool. The grounds had palm branches on top of the shrubbery and looks like it has been there awhile

Transparency Needed

The room was very clean, the beds were awesome! They slept very well. The variety of breakfast choices was great. The fitness room was a nice touch to help us stay on our healthy lifestyle journey while away from home.

For starters, the young lady (Ella) who checked us in was not very pleasant or informative at all! She made us wait for several minutes ( no one else was being waited on!) The other issue that would've been a deal breaker had I known in advance, per Ella, the pool was being renovated. So my little one was very disappointed, to say the least. Nothing in the entire pool area looked like it was being renovated! The pool was fully operable, nothing was disconnected, etc. The ice machine on the 4th floor was broken . Signs apologizing for renovations were everywhere in the building but never posted on the website(s) selling the rooms. Not very transparent.

It was at a convenient location and overall it was okay.

The location was near the hospital where family was at. Beds were comfy as always!

When I walked into the room it was like walking into a Super 8 and I didn't pay for that. This is the first Hampton in which I stay and kinda regret my decision. The staff was polite to me however they were talking about another guest who apparently had been rude.

Not worth the price.

Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Bed was noisy, pillows were flat and very uncomfortable and the bathroom had a weird smell.

Would never pay that much again

It was close to the children's hospital. We definitely didn't get lost finding it.

We paid a ridiculous amount for a night plus parking. The staff was definitely not over friendly. I've stayed at way nicer places for what we paid for there. I wouldn't stay here again but it served its purpose. The lady offered the people in front of us this little bag that had two waters in it and offered us nothing. The parking ($10.75), I can say we were scared to leave our vehicle.

Convenient and comfy

Breakfast and breakfast staff was fantastic. Nice gym facility!

Stayed 4 nights so no fresh towels or cleaning. Lounge chairs by the pool would be nice.

Decent stay on a good area

The staff was really friendly and tried to help with requests. It was nice that Walmart and Walgreens delivered so I didn't need to leave to get last minute stuff. The area is nice next to the river and nice restaurants.

The hotel could use a update l, but the room was clean and comfortable. The walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors sometimes, but breakfast was decent, so it was a good value overall.

I wasn't able to fully check in at the hotel but my money was taking off my card. I need this cancelled and my money fully returned.

I couldn't check in and had to find a new hotel and my money was taken by Booking and I need a full refund.

the buildign is antiquated, dingy, dirty and overall lacked cleanliness maid service lacking; towels/soap/toilet paper only if you go to the desk to retrieve it.

Standard Hotel

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice. Pool available however did not use it so cannot comment. Train system close if you didn't want to drive. Car parking available

Renovations should mean up grade not down grade.

Close location to our event

The bed was broken. Pillows are flat. Floor very dirty. A/C unit was musty and filter filthy. Microwave stand broken. Stained towel. Stained furniture.

Great location but overall a let down.

Great location, staff super friendly (shout out to Angel for being so helpful), gated parking was nice. Included breakfast was great.

It seems to be falling into a state of disrepair, pipes are old and squealed loudly when we showered. Not as clean as we expect. No linens in room for pull out bed, we had to ask for them. Linens on the bed were stained. Fridge was dirty and so was bathroom. Bed and pillows were extremely old and uncomfortable. I expect better for $200 a night.

We will not be staying here again! Overpriced for the facilities!

The breakfast was okay. The lady working in there was exceptionally nice and friendly.

As soon as I walked into our room, I felt as if I was staying at a Days Inn, not a Hampton Inn! Out of date furnishings! And we didn’t think the room and floor was that clean! The entire hotel needs an update!!

Wouldn’t stay here again

The location suited the purpose of our visit to Jacksonville.

When we got to our room our feet were sticking to the tiled floor in the entry & bathroom. The smell of vomit in the bathroom was disgusting. I asked housekeeping to mop the floor again but that was useless, only spraying a small mop with water & wiped over the floor, basically doing nothing. We used towels on the floor just to be able to walk on it. When I asked housekeeping for extra towels she would only give me one more towel, we had 3 people staying in the room. We had a 3 night stay & they didn’t clean/replace towels during that time
