Great location

3.5
Needing a key to use elevator
Heat from glass kept room from cooling below 71.

Beautifully Located right on River.
Little Pricey. A little slow about fixing reported problem in big suite. But fixed it the next day.
4.5
Perfect location, large bathroom
3.0
Great location in downtown Jacksonville, within walking distance to many attractions. The lobby is pretty and modern. Valet parking is convenient and the valet staff are very friendly. The waiter, Huso, at The Tavern was very friendly, attentive, and made some great recommendations for our dinner.
The lobby is modern, but the rooms are very dated. The carpet, the curtains, the beds, the closet, the bathroom - all look very old and need a major facelift. The market is overpriced. This hotel is very expensive, but the rooms, hallways, and elevators are all outdated, making this hotel not worth the money. And if I’m paying $350/night after taxes, fees, and valet, they could at least offer a free continental breakfast!

The location was perfect for a night at the Florida Theater
The restaurant manager came over and told one of my group that they outdid not eat the food they had delivered by doordash. Talked to her like she was a child ad should have known better. We were in the Tavern having drinks and they stopped serving food before they got there and they were hungry. And the waitress seemed aggrevated that we were sitting in the booth after we had finished our food (that we ordered in the nick of time) and finished our drinks. She said they closed at 11:00 but were staying open due to us being there. We specifically asked the front desk when we checked in what time the Tavern closed and we were told 12:00. Overall we were made to feel very unwelcome. We were nurses out for a girls night and just wanted relax and chat together. We ended up leaving and going upstairs. Kinda put a damper on the night

Location , staff . 24 hr services
I liked everything . A less expensive continental breakfast option would be nice . Also a more comfortable arm chair in the room.

The breakfast was fantastic and the dinner I ate was superb!!!
The only problem I had was that I couldn't stay longer!
3.5
Convenient, good location, friendly staff
For the price, a little run down

I loved EVERYTHING. From the time you walked into the hotel, you can sense the cleanliness. It smelt amazing. Staff were extra friendly and helpful. There was excellent customer service from beginning to end. The breakfast tasted great. The room was exceptionally spacious, CLEAN, and had an amazing view of the bridge and the river.
I can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel. I had such an awesome experience, especially after coming from a nightmare experience at a different hotel.

We were able to upgrade our room to a riverfront view for an extra $40 a night. It literally was the best part of the trip. The weather was mid 70's during the day and low 60's at night, with clear views of the river and city. Two days and two nights of walking together along the riverfront was perfect. The restaurant and bar were also fantastic and reasonably priced. The less than 1 mile walk to the football stadium added to the value of the hotel location. Everything was excellent!!!

Loved the location especially right on the water beautiful with the glass sliding door open!
The elevators didn’t seem the safest. The bathrooms could use updating / better cleaning. There were also some bad smells throughout the hotel and the hot tub wasn’t working it was drained at the time.

Like a little.softer bed. Everything else was wonderful.
Great place to stay.
2.0
The location was nice, the premises itself was nice, as well as it included restaurants, market, shop, so you didn’t have to leave the hotel to get necessities.
For the price to stay for one night I would expect one or AC to work well in the room by the end of our stay it just hit 7 2°. Also, the refrigerator in our room did not work when we left at the end of our stay our drinks were still warm as well as the shower in our bathroom when turning it on to shower mode, the water would spit out of both ends of the spout, and did not give good pressure to take shower…

Requested a room with a view and the view of the river was exceptional.
Nothing at all.

Very clean and updated hotel.
View from the room was the parking garage.

Location and distance from interstate was great. Lots of nearby places to walk to. Housekeeping staff were excellent in that my room was cleaned and restocked everyday.
Hotel itself is dated and it shows in the rooms. Definitely needs to be renovated. Bath was old, decor looked old, everything was descent but for the price paid you would assume rooms that looked 5 star. Prices of everything in this hotel seemed absurdly high from gift shop to food in foyer to parking. Parking for valet is like day light robbery. Expect to pay a lot for everything here. Some of the restaurant staff weren’t so friendly which seemed unusual considering they are front line service. Unless I’m attending for work it’s unlikely I would stay at this location again.

Courteous staff. Valets at parking accommodating, pleasant. Overall cleanliness noted throughout. Check in process efficient. Management staff addressed needs promptly and efficiently. Food options varied. 24/7 market place functional and well stocked. Gym supplied and all equipment operational. Great views from the gym and pool area. Location on the river peaceful. Nearby daytime activities included outdoor free concert in adjacent park area, water taxi access and tour of 1945 US warship permanently docked on the wharf.
Four person, two double standard room was booked in advance yet room poorly stocked. Too few pillows, no extra blankets, too few towels, hand cloths, washcloths, inadequate coffee beverage stock, no mugs, glasses. Room itself cramped, view directly into maintenance area. Hotel lobby furnishings dated and worn. Furniture with chips, scratches of lower quality and uncomfortable. Jacuzzi not functioning. Shuttle service advertised not available (website not updated). Lack of shuttle significant as the hotel was selected based on distance to Vystar Memorial with cost of transport locally considered. Hotel was one mile walking distance to venue, however is isolated along the river. Options for dining, shopping, activities outside hotel limited in immediate area. Local streets deserted at night. Pan handlers prevalent. Solo travel at night discouraged. No police or security visible.

Was told only valet parking for $50. When approach front Dess was told we could’ve parked ourselves. Was a little confusing.
