ubicación
En general todo bien, pero pudiera estar mucho mejor.

Not a lot unfortunately, the location is decent but is very outdated, interior was dirty/mould on windows
The cleanliness was far from adequate, the windows also did not shut properly meaning noise from the roads was constant during the night, causing sleeping issues. There was also an odd smell in the room and throughout the hotel. We were greeted by a friendly gentlemen at the beginning who was very helpful. But apart from him, the other receptionists would not give you the time of the day as they would rather sit at the desk on their phones all day.

the sheets look like were not changed! some spots on the bed sheet :(
no shelf or drawer or closet, to put your belonginess ! everything was in our luggage :( the window in the bathroom is open and we could not close it as it is very rustic and stacked ! no table, one single chair for 2 people.

Free coffee, bus stop in front of hotel
Unsafe feeling within the vicinity. Old rooms, not same as the picture. Restaurant closes early during weekdays in the vicinity.

:as banquetas están asquerosas y huele a desecho humano. El hotel en sí no tiene internet, los cuartos están super chicos y los baños también, el lavabo es del tamaño de un bebedero. Jamas me vuelvo a quedar en este hotel.

Clean room
Location was was terrible due to proximity to drug and homelessness area. It was confronting for us and extremely sad at the same time.
2.0 / 5.0
It had character, location was quite good, staff did their best to be as helpful as possible
Not impressed that our toilet and shower were separate to our bedroom (‘own toilet and shower’ was only technically true).

Building atmosphere

Comfortable bed and large bathroom
Electrical points and lamps were not working so no charging possibilities, the sash windows did not lock even though they were accessible via the fire escape.

For the price we paid comparing to other hotels in SF, it was quite allright. Private lockable bathroom and toilet separate from the room itself but we knew that in advance. Water, coffee and tea available downstairs at the reception. Clean room and comfortable beds. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Quite noisy outside so bring earplugs. Room became stuffy quickly as we could not open the window. No breakfast, no fridge, only one outlet in the whole room

The daylight in that location!
Stuffy rooms and had to open the windows which outside had a dirty city smell. Heard screaming in the middle of the night from the homeless! The next morning, someone broke both of my back windows and stole an organizer for a nissan only and a blue night robe! Even at 40yo, I am failing and learning what not to do for the future. Growth people, if only all could do this! 😄😆

Tidy, well kept rooms and friendly, helpful staff.
Was quite far out from the main tourist locations although located close to public transport this took a while so sometimes an expensive Uber was the only option

Room was comfortable. Bathroom is not attached but you get keys for it. Toilet is your own with key. Shower is shared but door locks.
Loud area, but all hotels in this location will have that issue. Room is small which was fine with me but may be an issue for others.

The location was good.
There were issues with the hot water as it’s an old building. The shower was luke warm so I wouldn’t recommend staying in cold weather.

Good location, close to restaurants and small shops.
No heating. The doors could have better locks for security and guests confidence.
Staff seemed unmotivated.

Great location right on a tram stop.
The room was advertised with a heater but the heating never gets turned on for the building as far as we can tell.

Nice location
The Edwardian definitely needs some improvements and more helpful staff. We had to switch rooms after we checked in the hotel because there were a number of broken things in the room (window, shower handle…). We switched to a different room which was a little better but still needed a lot of improvement (stained carpet, outdated bathroom, outlets without covers,…). When we communicated it with the person at the front desk they told us we could go find a different hotel and that this one is old so it is normal. We asked to speak to the manager and they told us he was busy taking care of other businesses.

Location, ease of check-in. Very clean and well maintained.
Need to cross the hallway to access the "private" bathroom. Very cold at night.

Location was perfect as I was visiting the War memorial for an event, The guy at the front desk was good and polite. Clean bathroom
Normal metal keys, so easy to loose.
Lots of noise as it is on the street and no proper sound proofing
The bed sheets were stained, and not just one or two stains, many stains all over. Just slept on the corner of the bed with my jacket on.

I booked this location because it was close to the venue we were attending. It was a 5 minute walk to our venue and it came with a small side fan. That is the only nice I can mention of this stay. Oh, and it was safe.
When given our room key, we were told that we were on the first floor which was on the second floor. Our room was literally a closet with a bed. The bathroom and closet was to be expected but the room size and set up was honestly surprising. The room was too small for the size of the bed so when you walk past the end of the bed you hit the tv mounted on the wall. The plug on the wall of the tv did not work, you have to use the extension cord they have running from the bottom of the bed. There were so many wires coming from under the bed it looked like an electric fire would happen. The bed also came with pillows that were so hard that we woke up the next day with a neck ache. The blinds on the window were broken and the window just showed a brick wall. There was no microwave, mini fridge, or even a ice bucket container. Was not worth the money that was spent for the room and the pictures on the website look a whole lot nicer than the real thing.
