Bien pour visiter Québec city et ses alentours

- Parking gratuit - Facile d'aller dans le centre de Québec en transport en commun - Personnel très sympathique et disponible - Savons et shampooing à disposition - Proche des chutes de Montmorency et de l'île d'Orléans

- Pas de café alors qu'il y a une machine à café dans la chambre, on n'a pas demandé pour en avoir donc il faut peut-être le faire si vous en voulez - Pas de four à micro-ondes ni bouilloire - Pas nickel propre - Cher à la nuit mais c'est peut-être tout Québec city qui est plus cher

The motel is not 5 star but suits our needs for short stays! Returning here in 2 weeks for 2 nights!

Not our first time at Motel Giffard! Check in was easy and quick as the lady remembered us! Close to places we needed to go eg: grocery, banks, Tims etc! Parking was near the room, so easy loading and unloading! The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked very well!

The place is getting a little dated and the washrooms need some attention but everything works! We have stayed here numerous times and know what to expect!

Very convenient location to downtown, quiet, comfortable beds, quad room had plenty of room and great table space. Good wifi. The front desk staff was very helpful working with my lack of French, which I so much appreciated.

Room/fixtures are old (though redecorated and everything was in good working order). Faint smell of smoke upon entry though I didn't notice it after 5-10 minutes. I wish the window was openable to let some fresh air in.

Great for a short stay in Quebec, if you have a car

Good place to stay. Easy to access, not far off from the city centre. Room is large, good bed, one parking spot per person. Totally worth it, getting it's quite cheap for Quebec.

Not much! A bit noisy, because it's close to a busy boulevard, but that's it!

While the room was non-smoking, it smelled quite strongly in the room. Ventilation needs to be improved.

Fair enough deal for a night stay.

Place is good if you are looking for a cheap clean place to stay. It is clean but not as clean as I want. Our stay is pretty quick so I guess it's just fair for the price I paid. Thank you though for letting us stay on your motel.

I just want to suggest to at least improve communication for the sake of travelers who cannot communicate their local language. It is just advantage to at least know how to speak a little bit of english. So if the traveler wants to know something, you can answer politely not just hang up the phone because you cannot understand the customer. Thank you,

Decent, But Pricey

The room was adequate, but somewhat old and a little musty. The shower and toilet room(s) were very narrow. The room did have a refrigerator and microwave, which was good. The bed was okay, probably older than what most motels have. Overall decent, but for the price, not spectacular. There was a pretty good pizza place a few minutes walk down the road. I booked it mainly for the reasonable proximity to the downtown area (turns out walking there is a bit much); and free parking.

The room itself was somewhat old and dated, and musty upon first entry. But I got used to it. The location is somewhat far from restaurants and grocery stores if you don't have a car. The bus stop is a bit of a walk up a block, and you have to cross the road to get there. Thankfully it's not busy all day.

I will be staying here again, and I would recommend it to anyone.

The staff was so friendly and their cat was so cute, it made me so happy to see a little cat. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were clean and soft. The parking was perfect and right outside of our door.
