Nice cabin for 2 and our small dog. Both the deck and outdoor firepit area is enclosed. Gas furnace inside heats up the cabin quickly.
The place was not so clean. Pots, pans, cooking utensils had food residue so I had to wash them before use. Same with coffee maker.
The bathroom had hair from previous guests, I had to clean the drain before using the tub.

Had everything we needed for relaxing stay, bbq and outdoor space is just perfect for family break.
A few extra mugs and cutlery would have been handy.
4.3
Clean and well equipped
Would not have been comfortable for 4- glad our friends didn’t join us

Very cosy and private cabin
Well stocked kitchen so cooked a few evenings
Loved the outdoor fire pit and great to chill out in front of a campfire with a glass of red wine after a long day walking
Great location and near to all restaurants in Port Renfrew and many day walks
The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay amazing
nothing we loved it all!!!

The Cabin was comfortable and we could have our dog with us.
I suggest that the cabin has an ant problem - probably needs to be fumigated. (Having had a similar experience in my home this year.) The sofa bed should have a cover on the mattress and should be made up. Lastly, one bulb in the bathroom was out. Ants, though, we a real problem.

quiet except close to main road
some ants and no sharp knife, needs cereal size bowls and new frying pan

it was so cute and the bed was super comfy
just a little construction on the weekend

The cabin is great! Very private and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. The bathtub is nice and deep.Karen was very friendly and helpful.
The outdoor plug in lights do not work which made it hard to see. Also one of the gates was broken and my dog escaped. It was very annoying to have to take the garbage to the dump. The fire place was a bit tricky.

The house was the perfect set up for us! We loved the huge patio area with the options of locking gates to keeps the doggies safe. Very cozy and sweet.

This was perfect thank you! quiet clean and port Renfrew never disappoints!
I didn’t take any photos before we moved our things in.

Nice facilities, decor and supplies. The owner had put some care into it - it feels like you are borrowing someone's cabin. Liked the propane fire pit - missed having a fire while camping (wood fire ban) so it was great to have one here. Did one of the puzzles - thanks.
Had a real problem accessing the key. The number code to open the key box was emailed only the day before the reservation, but we'd been camping for 4 days before that and our phones dead and so we were not able to pick up the mail or use our phones to contact the host. Recommend the host send the code a week ahead, at the cancellation-without-penalty deadline. This caused us delay and a great deal of unnecessary stress.
Septic smell outdoors, especially by parking spot. Fortunately not when inside and not enough to drive us inside.
Rename the place - the name is deceptive. It was not a shack in the woods. It was a Tiny House in a strata development of tiny houses, so lots of people around. That being said, privacy was reasonable if less than we expected.
Also directions need to be revised to be clearer. We drove around for a while trying to find the landmarks and only recognized them once we'd found the place and then looked backwards. Refer to the No Thru Road sign. Same problem trying to find the municipal garbage bin when we followed through on host's request to remove the trash.

The noise of costruction right next door to us

loved the clean, cute little cabin.

Lovely cabin in Port Renfrew. Easy check in. Has everything you need for a simple stay! Loved the outdoor fire place and supplied wood. There is so much to explore in the area if you like hikes and coastal beaches!

It was very comfortable and the hostess accommodated our requests.
There was a power outage in the morning but it was not specific to the property. The propane grill was great to cook breakfast.

Location... near Botanical Beach
Toilet not working, but it was fixed.... Thx

Everything. This resort is a great getaway. We have stayed in several different cabins, but this by far was one of the best locations

Location was what we expected.
Missing utensils for the barbecue.

We loved that it was a little more private than some of the other cabins.

The directions to the location were perfect and we found the cabin easily. The cabin is sheltered and private, part of a group of condo's, with a big deck and outdoor fire-pit, all at one level. Free parking right next to the entrance.
It was perfect for what we needed. The password in the guest book for WiFi didn't work, but actually it didn't mention WiFi when I booked. If we had had to be inside a long time I would have liked cable TV.
4.3
Cozy, well maintained, able to use laptop, had Netflix, able to make own meals, access to fire pit, firewood delivered
No fans, no kitchen knife (chef’s knife), no dish drying rack

Everything was wonderful! From Karen, the property host, to the location, cleanliness and privacy it was wonderful! We will be back! The only thing we thought could have been added were a few more kitchen accessories as we brought all our own food and like to cook!
