Pleasantly surprised, thank you Holiday Inn

The property was well-maintained, the bed was comfortable. The room was very clean.

The room was on the smaller size for sure. I had a queen size bed, and a desk and a small bathroom felt like a college dorm room, but the value is perfect.

The experience overall was great, location, attractions, weather.

The AC was not working well in the first room we got, so we were moved to another room. The AC needs maintenance in the hotel.

Location

I booked a king size room and we get there and they tell us they don’t have king size rooms. There was hardly any walking room or room to close the bathroom door without having to step into the bathtub.

房间超级小垃圾，通过Booking预定的，酒店说无法提供发票，超级垃圾，为什么其他酒店就可以？明摆着是故意恶心的，要不就是Booking没跟酒店谈妥，住了这么多酒店，就这个酒店奇葩。

Too expensive vs value

Great central location

Too expensive (3 x the price of a Holliday inn I visited a few months ago in Manchester, UK) The breakfast All plates, cutlery, coffee cups etc are single use

Great time.

The location was good. Breakfest was good. Was able to walk to go see places. The weather was nice. Had a nice time seeing everything. Was able to park in a garage. People were freindly. Would like to come back again sometime.

We booked months ago for a weekend get away. I had corresponded with the hotel multiple times prior to our stay . when my husband and I arrived at the property there were bike chains on the door , the elevator shafts were open and you could tell there was no one there . We attempted to call the hotel and the number was disconnected . I was in shock , our hotel that was confirmed was vacant. So here we are in chicago for the first time trying to figure out what is going on . I cant believe booking nor holiday inn express could make a huge mistake like this . So disappointed .

Mediocre Hotel in a Perfect Location

The location is pretty good. You are minutes away from the Magnificent Mile and the Loop and their attractions. That's about the only thing I liked about this hotel. Breakfast is okay.

There were a whole lot of things that were not to my liking: - The room was very cramped. They had fit two double beds in a tiny room. There was hardly any room to move around. - The bathroom sink was kind of clogged and it took a few minutes for the water to get drained. - One of the elevators was out of service once we wanted to use it and there were in total 2 elevators. - Our room was out of body wash and shower gel when we got the room, so, we had to ask for more. That said, they brought them to us in a few minutes.
