An idyllic stay in beautiful Santa Barbara

Perfect location, so close to the bars and restaurants. Beautiful design, the hotel was really pretty. Staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly. We wish we had stayed another night!

We were in the far end downstairs, the sink was a bit smelly and the hallway also smelt funny, like drains. I did wonder if that was because our room was near the laundry room. No facilities to have hot water in the room. Had to get dressed and walk out onto the street, then into the lobby to get hot water for a cup of tea (being British - tea is very important!!)

Convenient place to stay close to downtown SB. Basic accommodation.

Room was clean but very basic. Walls could do with a touch up of paint!

Great location….. my reservation was for two nights $ 431. Dollars total price. They charge 1300 dollars in my credit card…. After I complain to the management, they adjust the price to $ 249.00 per night. Still they refuse to honor the price of the reservation. I will definitely dispute those charges…. This hotel is a scam…. I’m 70 years old and I wasn’t even being held up 20 steps up and I had to carry my own luggage…. Disappointed and disgusted place…. They refused to honor booking.come, reservation and put me on their own reservation and charge more money….!

Good location and staff. Small room and terrible TV.

The bathroom was ok. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The rooms were small. The TV was terrible. You couldn't watch TV for more than 2 minutes without it buffering. The ice cream freezer in the lobby wasn't even at freezing so the ice cream was mushy. The room wasn't very quiet. You could here footsteps from the floor above.

Super hübsches Hotel in toller Lage mit richtig gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

die Lage, die super freundlichen und flexiblen Mitarbeiter. Das hübsche und ansprechende Design. Ein altes Gebäude liebevoll hergerichtet, nicht over done. Es war überhaupt kein Problem, um zwölf auszuchecken, als es meinem Mann nicht so gut ging. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in der Lobby waren total hilfsbereit bei allem.

Love the location of this hotel. Nice bedding and clean. Front desk male was very nice and accommodating.

The air conditioner was broken in the room that I requested so we moved to another room. No extra amenities in this place and twice the price of what the hotel used to be. They used to have free breakfast and coffee in the lobby all day but no longer. Also charging $30 for parking.

Ok hotel, looks better in pictures, not worth the $600/night though.

The outdoor lounge was great, the location was great, parking attendants were greate.

Overall an old hotel with poor sound proofing. Our room had no view which was blocked by the patio. Further, this room was noisy and you could hear the hotel elevator pretty loudly. Further, unless you're on the 3rd floor, you're going to hear the people upstairs so check-in early (we didn't know you could) and get a 3rd floor room. I guess the room was too small for a second chair so to "relax" or kick back we were forced to go out to the lounge; another negative was the complete lack of self-serve parking, forcing you into the $30/day valet. The upshot was the parking lot was tiny so your car was nearly instantly available.

The hotel is a cute boutique hotel in a great location but a bit costly.

It a historic building close to a great tourist area

We were given a handicap room close to the entrance. We should have asked for a new room right away. We traveled with 2 teen daughters. A bathroom is difficult to share at that age and the bathroom was a bit difficult to use because it was a handicap room. For the cost, there isn’t much included but we were very happy with the location. The “extras” were very basic. For example, the toiletries were generic and you could buy snacks like sodas, cookies or chips at the desk. We asked for advise on some excursions we wanted to take. I wasn’t expecting a concierge but the staff at the desk wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area.

This is the first time we stay in a Tapestry Collection . We loved the property , great location . Very very friendly staff from front desk and valet parking. Rooms were clean spacious and have a nice decoration. Will stay here again for sure!! We loved Santa Barbara

A very modern hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara, within walking distance of bars and the promenade, while a little away from the bustling central street. The staff is very friendly and helps with all questions.

Bottles of water in the room are free of charge only if there is a club card, without a club card they charge $ 3. I think that for such a price, the rooms could provide their guests with water for free. There is no free parking, only paid parking of $ 30 per day.

Great central hotel

Central location; the hotel's manager was quick to fix Booking.com's error in not sending our reservation to the hotel.

Booking.com didn't send the hotel my reservation. We had to call Booking.com to fix this problem taking over an hour.

I would highly recommend it!

The hotel is located within walking distance to shops, the beach, and the train station. There was a lovely porch on the second floor to enjoy coffee.

Very nice staff. Beautiful, clean decoration. Great Location nearby shops and beach at walking distance.

I was not aware valet parking would cost me so much. though the guys doing valet were all very friendly and attentive.

very well located and nicely renovated. great vibe. nice and big room.

my credit card was wrongly charged at night by the hotel due to an error or hack. i was able to resolve the matter with some interactions with the credit card company. however, the hotel staff didn't seem to care about the matter at all. this was irritating because everything else was perfect and they were friendly.
