NO BREAKFAST!
This place has went DOWN!! In such a short time.
The rooms used to be Very well cleaned, kitchenette fully stocked, clean linen & bedding & more. Now? The last 3 times have been bad, horrible & The Worst. Needless to say we will NOT be returning. The bedding has had bodily fluids, dried blood on the sheets, & even dried mucus in the pillows. Ugh. We requested new/clean linen the first 2 incidents, and the most recent stay, we had to go out and purchase bcus no other hotel near our conference location was available for check in. This is so disappointing, as we absolutely LOVED this hotel after our initial stay. The staff, the cleanliness, the safe/quiet feel. (Even the safety feels compromised. There are more sketchy, loud ppl hanging around, smoking, loitering the exterior of the building as of recent. It’s just truly a disappointment.
Now with the decline in quality, sonesta has actually had the audacity to INCREASE prices, incidental hold fee & more, to an obnoxiously high rate! There’s even a fee for early check in now. I truly can’t believe it! Not sure if they’re trying to compensate for the money that they’re losing from refunds, or just less bookings over all bcus of the quality now, but definitely hate to see it. Would not recommend.

location
The room that I rebooked under my Booking.com app, was different from the room that I got the second time. The employee explained that they must have upgraded me the first time and be known to me. Otherwise I would not have selected the option to rebook this room again. The first room was much more comfortable and suitable. Also, the Internet was blocked so I could not use the guest Internet for my fire stick. When I inquired with the employees they indicated that they had no knowledge of FIRESTICK being blocked, but if it didn't work, there was nothing they could do about it.

price (initial what was presented on bookings.com but I was charged a different amount) not including the $150 deposit.
The staff (Ursula) greeted me in a very robotic nature. Not welcoming, not friendly. Rehearsed instructions and just told me what to do with my card and where to sign without explaining or going over anything. Maybe rehearsing her job duties is easy for her but it came off as a bit rude.

$150 dollars for incidentals? With the hold advertised for 7-10 days??? That is insane and a major rip off! I won't be going back.

Convenient
When I pulled up with my girlfriend there was a crowd outside smoking in the front entrance. I end up locating a side entrance to walk through

Quiet, had what we needed. Staff very helpful and friendly. The bed was awesome. Thanks, I'll definitely use you again
Only complaint would be to put air freshener in the rooms. Needs a little freshening up

Staff were always helpful to me. I also really appreciated the washers and dryers that guests can use for free , 24 hours daily - a real time saver and benefit. And the price point is very economical.
Phone in rooms and in entrance are no longer operational. Why have them? It's frustrating when a client wants to call the front desk to ask a question, and picks up a phone expecting it to work and it does not. The WIFI was iffy the first few days, not being able to connect frequently. On days 4-7, I was able to connect, But I only used it for basic needs. Large, deep pothole at the end of driveway before you turn into the hotel car park. A potential tire destroyer that should be fixed.

Per ad breakfast was included but this is an extended stay..NO BREAKFAST the front desk worker was so unprofessional. Our first room ended up locked from the inside when we got up and it took them a full hour to get us another room and it was 3am so clearly they weren’t doing much else and a guest before us had a long wait as well upon his arrival finding an issue. It’s not bad for the price but overall service and advertisement needs to be updated

They let dogs stay. Close to the highway
There is no pool and no elevator ,The dog walking area is very small. Parking lot needs a lot of work in big potholes.

overall nice affordable place to stay
Front desk person asked how many keys I wanted. I told her 2. She only gave me 1. Prior to me being helped it was a couple in front of me. She showed them on they key card what room they’ll be staying in. But when after I pay she announced my room number loud instead of telling me in private. It gets worse, 1am or 2am I was awaken by someone entering my room! How can you give someone a key to a room thats occupied and I had my two small children with me. Worst experience ever and I will not be back!!!
