All the staff were great. We arrived after 24+ hours travel, and they let us check in early, which was great, we were exhausted. The room was great. The weather was against us, which frankly was ok (!) because we could justify catching up on some rest without feeling guilty about not fulfilling our touristy duties! I had a bit of a query about the valet parking when we checked out, but the front staff were professional and fixed it up quickly. (And the valet parking was well done. It ain't cheap, and I don't know if you can do better/cheaper but we were happy to use this option.)
The staff in the bar were the friendliest people on the planet.
Great position in downtown Houston.
Could have done with a fridge in the room. Minor.

El desayuno bueno
Cafetera no funcionó

The location. Right down the street from Minute Maid Park, which is the reason for our visit and the party scene the way. We had a lot of fun. Lobby bar was pretty good as well.
Nothing. It was a good stay.

The incredibly friendly and accommodating staff! The decor. The bar scene ( Honey is the best). The neighborhood. Easy to park ( not included).
Nothing

Room was spacious
Pillows did not hold shape, there was no fridge, and the homeless outside made me a bit uneasy while walking outside.

Nice hotel! We didn’t get room we paid for but Denise comped our parking & suppose to get some hotel points - very much appreciated this!
Room had two bathrooms which was unusual but really liked that!
Bar had a funny smell?
Unfortunately there were transients camping near our hotel - so I’m glad we didn’t walk to minute maid park - I know this is not hotels fault. It’s a shame that we even have people living in the street.

Nice remodel for an older building. Clean.
The room smelled like it'd been smoked in

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I liked the view from the hotel.
The parking and no complimentary breakfast

nothing
the hotel is not clean, it smells strongly. we all ended up with a backache due to the beds conditions. We did not have hot water in the room, which the hotel staff which advised they will send maintenance, but no one arrived to even take a look.
The coffee machine in the room sprayed all over, when asked to replace it we got a machine that did not work at all and it was also replaced with another machine that did not work. Funny enough to get a replacement machine to begin with, we had to carry it personally to the reception.
as for the parking, the hotel only offers Valet parking and there is no self parking option.
The location is problematic as well!!! be careful !!! the hotel is surrounded by homeless. as it the entire neighborhood was of homeless people

the hotel is very well maintained and nicely decorated. the downtown location was convenient..the bar was fun and the drinks were good, as were the appetizers we ordered.
the front desk attendant was somewhat condescending and not very friendly. We requested him to call a cab for us and after about 25 minutes we checked back and he told us that he would give us the number in order for us to call ourselves. when we returned to the hotel after our event, around 10:30PM, we were not happy to discover that there was no food service of any kind and there wasn’t even a place to buy snacks. it was rainy and there were homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks so we were not comfortable venturing out afoot, so we went to bed hungry. When I made reservations I asked if there was parking and was told that there was valet parking; however they neglected to inform me that it was $39.00 per day!

Staff and bar were outstanding
Quite a bit of homeless people across the street from the hotel

beautiful hotel
The evening bartender wasn’t attentive. Also, we had to wait 30 minutes before the restaurant could service us because it was between breakfast and lunch time (11:00 AM - 11:30 AM). We had arrived to the restaurant at 11:05 AM.

Everyone was polite and helpful, and the hotel itself felt quaint and tucked away downtown.

breakfast was not included at all and the front desk person was argumentative about a confirmed reservation that i had blatantly showed her on my phone. charged me the same as my online reservation within none of the percs that came with the online booking.

Very clean comfortable room. Bathroom/shower nice. Walking distance to Minute Maid.
Could hear every little noise nearby. Neighbors talking to hearing their door shut which was quite loud. Front desk staff could be a little more inviting.

Bathroom was nice.
Property is located next to a homeless shelter. I did not feel our family was safe in this area. Hotel rooms were very small. No mini fridge. It was a 12 min walk to Minute Maid. again, did not feel safe enough to walk. Found an old eyelash curler on the floor from the last person. soap dish was dirty. Mirror was cracked and dirty
