Short trip for Birmingham Zoo

The rooms were nice, neat & clean. I loved the parking garage. And having direct access to the room from it. My request was honored for the rooms to be next to each other. We loved the pool area. It was neat & clean. The location was perfect & GPS took us straight to it. Overall it was a great visit! The staff were all friendly & helpful.

I wish the price could have been a little lower. And the restaurant was so crowded we couldn't get in to eat breakfast.Other than this we plan to visit again!

It was good.

The breakfast was nice but not for the price of it wasn’t included in our booking.

Some of the other guests were vaping on our floor making it have a skunk smell.

Pretty basic nothing to write home about.

Well kept property and beds were comfortable.

The staff might as well have been a self check register. In check in asked name, ID, payment then handed me the card. No pleasantries no information about the property or welcome

Good location, fair price and clean comfortable room

Great experience, room was clean and comfortable. Staff provided great customer service. Bathroom was clean and shower was great.

Ice machine on 14th floor was not working properly, but ice was easily available on next floor down. Unfortunately, I forgot to inform front desk. My bad. Hopefully a staff member will read this and get ice machine on 14th floor repaired.

Average.

Really basic hotel for the price. No added extras in the room. Not even hand soap. Toilet cistern was broken and never repaired. Breakfast was average. Service excellent though. Staff are lovely.

Fair.

The location was safe and convenient. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The rooms were wonderful.

The TVs in the rooms are listed as a "smart TV" and they are not.

Great hotel, lots of hidden CC Holds

Great location and Great staff—Corey checked me in, and he was swamped with people and phone calls…yet he still assisted me with my luggage as no one else was available.

There are additional credit card hold amounts that are not disclosed until check-in; they come off of course, but one should be aware.

Would go there again for the conference but would prefer the conference rooms be a little warmer.

I liked the cleanliness and thought the room was pretty. I also felt safe in the room.

The conference rooms were really cold. Also wish the pool had more privacy. I also had a room that was joint to another where they shared doors. The people on the other side were strangers. The conjoined doors leaked a lot of noise.

It was a pretty good stay but it could have been so much better for what the Hilton name implies.

Location was in a nice area, parking was in an attached private garage

There was construction at the hotel. I wish that was disclosed when I booked. The rooms were dingy. Base boards were not clean. Trash cans in the bathroom had stains on them. We couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the temperature for a day. They couldn’t add my Honors membership to the stay.

I didn’t like how it was advertised that breakfast was included but once I started booking my stay it said that the continental breakfast was $18 per person. The renovations kinda threw me off as well. When I arrived to the property I didn’t even think it was open because the front entrance was boarded up. And also I don’t understand why I had to pay for parking if I was a guest at the hotel

This is my go to hotel when in Birmingham.

The breakfast was complimentary due to a problem with our bathroom sink which was stopped up later that evening. The front desk agent offer us another room, but it was late that night so we decided to stay in the room.

The bathroom sink stopped up. Outside of that the accommodations were great! We attended a college alumni event throughout the day. It was very enjoyable.

Not what a Hilton is supposed to be.

The whole experience was not pleasant.

Staff was very rude and un attentive. Also, rooms never got cleaned even upon requesting at the front desk. The phone inside the room did not work, and the staff was notified and did nothing. The room had no microwave, and the A/C was very noisy. Also, parking was an extra 15 dollars per night.

Run down and poorly maintained.

The bar/restaurant was perfect. Great food and terrific service.

We got to the room and it was clearly under maintenance. The bedside table was pulled out and the lamp between the beds was disassembled. The one year old with us was exhausted and needed a nap desperately so they lay down for her to rest. I went downstairs to let them rest and saw two of the front desk staff in the elevator. I asked them to wait 2 hours and investigate. Nothing ever was checked or fixed. I went to the bar and it wasn’t yet open so I went to the outdoor lounge area to read. The fire pits were all filled with cigarette butts and there were children on a deck above me throwing things. Later water started pouring from the bathroom ceiling over the tub.
