Surrounded by good restaurants
Under construction, gym was out of order, my room was canceled on me without any explanation and I was given a lesser value room then the one I booked.

The location
Too much noise and dust, couldn't sleep well
4.1
The rooms are very clean
The parking garage is not attached to the hotel, and they actually charge you for parking and the hotel was under construction. It was a mess.

There was nothing positive to say about the hotel besides the location being convenient to our destination.
Renovations were not mentioned on booking site or hotel website. Confusing layout and lack of proper signage to address this. Drilling noises for hours. Staff was not welcoming. Comforters looked dingy and possibly unwashed. Bathroom did not have fan to vent steam from shower. Random locked door made it sound like adjacent neighbors were talking in our room. My family was woken up several times due to this. Also, $38/day for self parking in a cramped lot.

Location seemed very good. We walked to all of the places we wanted to visit.
Needed distilled water for my cpap, and they did not have any, and we were unable to find any in nearby shops.
4.1
nothing we were not aware they were renovating
that the hotel was renovated and we were NOT informed

Ability to connect Netflix and COVID policies

Location
Where to start, lots of renovations so no restaurant or bar except makeshift. They are trying. But when we lost water both nights, and no a/c or hot water the second day and I still paid full price? But if you complained they gave in. I didn’t but I shouldn’t have too initiate that conversation.

Great staff, great amenities
Could be a little cleaner but it wasn’t awful.
4.1
Location ok
Felt a bit like a prison
Rooms drab and grey
Can’t see harbour from harbour view room
Works meant check in was on 3rd floor and took over an hour
4.1
Great location, just a 5 min walk across the road to the harbour and beach, with great views of the Queen Mary. Great restaurant on the harbour called Parkers Lighthouse. Cinema and clothes shopping even closer with another 2 restaurant's ,California Pizza Kitchen the other one was called something Island. About a 45 min drive to Universal Studios and a 30 min drive to Santa Monica. Great location
When we arrived at the hotel they had to find another room because ours was being used , the hotel was busy that night due to a Taylor Swift concert at the Convention centre. They said unless you book direct through the hotel your not guaranteed the room you book through booking.com.
This needs to be made clear on booking.com website

They lock the doors at night. You feel safe
Our room was leaking water from the sealing in the bathroom. We didn’t have enough toilet paper in our room.

Honestly the staff was very rude had a bad experience book the room true booking , got to the property at 1 Am due to traveling hours and once I get to the property the front guy bold was very rude said there was not reservation and they were laughing and me and my partner, had to struggle at 1 am looking for another staying place.
Staff wasn’t professional, was rude laughing like a weirdo felt kind of discrimination to be quiet honest

We are local and stayed for the country Jam
Worked out well and impressed with bar and staff!
All good
4.1
Location and amenities, the warm and friendly atmosphere. All of the staff, front desk, housekeeping and bar were excellent. I will definitely stay here again.
4.1
The location was fairly central.
The photographs did not accurately depict the quality of the room. Very misleading.
Room was not very clean and the furniture was falling apart. Interior is outdated.
Pool had chunks of hair and debris floating in it.
Price point is far too high for what you get.
As a note- there is NO shuttle from LAX to the hotel as promised/advertised…which was one reason we booked a stay here to begin with.

Location
The room smelled like old urine

did not like my room was infront of the parking complex i could not sleep the entire night i could hear every car passing by. also the AC was either way to low or there was no AC we were very hot . its was not a pleasant stay .
4.1
Very great location
The hidden fees and “rooftop” pool was on the third floor of 12 story building. You have to pay per night for the parking structure nowhere does it say that. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful they was no accommodation. Over all the price to me was not worth the experience.

Excellent service in reception. Great hotel for future trips.
4.1
It had a good location, I was there for a convention so being right across the street was helpful.
Where do I start? The room was decent but the AC leaked the entire time right in front of the door so that was annoying, it was fixed once but it continued to leak. It was extremely loud in our room, I don’t know what was above my room but it sounded like a Wrestling match was going on, it was so loud and disruptive, it would start at about 2am and continue until about noon. It was very hard to sleep, my wife went to the front desk at 6:30am for assistance, Ray, the front desk guy was very nice and did try to help but his manager Yamir was extremely rude to my wife and just cut her off and told her there was nothing he could about the noise he was rude and patronizing and I do not appreciate that, I paid over 1,300 dollars to stay at this hotel and to be treated this was us unbelievable. I will never stay here again, ever. I work in customer service and Yamir needs some serious training. Jasmine the other front desk person was also super nice, and Reed the maintenance guy was very nice and apologetic.

I enjoyed the starbucks there and the location of the hotel was good. We could walk to a lot of spots. The place was very clean. House keeping was amazing with replenishing our towels and straightening the room every single day. I also liked that they had a parking garage.
It was nice that they had a snack/convenience store but they should have a better system for it. Like maybe add a little kiosk so you don’t have to wait in line at the front desk. Also the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. You sunk right through the pillows.
