Nice, but nothing special
there’s a construction for a new building, and It’s so loud. We couldn’t rest.

good property but being out for so long during low season it’s noticeable
lack of preparation from the hotel staff to quickly resolve questions or concerns

The location was is a perfect scenic spot, great for skiers. The staff was very nice and the half glass of champagne offered arrival was delicious.
One way in, to the valet…no other options. There is a lot of construction in the immediate area, as they are adding timeshare units. Toro, the only restaurant, was mediocre. The food was nothing to write home about. The trout was burnt on the skin side and very dry meat. Salmon, was…okay. Wine and cocktails were very good, but when the server picked up the empty glasses, he didn’t ask if we wanted another round. First time that has ever happened! Too many dogs hanging around the bar. REALLY. No, they weren’t Service dogs. We never went back to Toro. Pool and pool bar was very nice. Bar food came from Toro, so we drove to Glenwood Springs for decent food. This was intended to be a one-time experience, thank goodness.

We did not get the apartment booked !!! The apartment was to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while there was only one bathroom and one bedroom. After intervention we were added an extra room connected by a door but it was not a two room suite but two connected rooms. We asked for the apartment to be changed to one that is in line with the reservation and we received information that we had such a reservation. First of all, it was not our booking because it was two connected rooms and there were two kitchens. The total area may be 65 square meters. There were 100 square meters in the booking.
Only after my long pleas that I could not have such a two-room hybrid, because I am in a wheelchair, we were promised an exceptionally (sic!)Apartment from the second day of our stay. We were asked to move out of the room the next morning and wait for a suite in the lobby. I refused and stayed in the room until the apartment was available. I feel cheated, I have a disgust, because if it weren't for my stubbornness, we would live in small, connected rooms, instead of in an apartment, paying as for an apartment. As a disabled person, I would not be able to function in rooms where I could hardly move in a wheelchair. We were not apologized for the situation, we were not refunded the price difference for the first night.

The ski area and the beautiful mountains of Snowmass are the high point of the trip— if only the hotel could be compatible with the scenery and its very high rates!

The property was beautiful, luxurious, elegant, scenic, and in a great location.
The property was not accommodating at all. There was a storm and my flight was cancelled and I was still charged for the room. The transportation from the property was also very challenging and they were not willing to accommodate at all.

Our room/suite was beautiful and spacious with a kitchenette, and lots of storage. The bathroom was massive, with a bathtub and a wall-in shower. There is a lovely heated outdoor pool and 2 bathtubs, with beautiful views. The restaurant in the hotel (Toro’s) was also excellent.

Krystal, at concierge service, was very helpful and extremely pleasant; the information she provided was accurate and everything she helped us with was excellent.
Nice breakfast, table availability on the spot when we went. Interesting foods too. Dinner tables were more difficult to find though.
The day we left, we waited so long for someone to come help with bags and nobody showed up. We called twice as we saw the taxi waiting for us close to the front entrance for about 15 min. We ended up carrying the bags and skis ourselves—not pleasant at all.
I wish the water pressure was better all the way up to the 8th floor, where our room was located. It was good enough for the shower but not too good at the sinks.

The Toro restaurant on site was wonderful, the food was great the service was even better. Concierge did an amazing job finding the activities we were interested in.

This is my first time to write a review since I‘m very disappointed with this hotel. This is the only hotel I‘ve ever experienced which request $75fee for service animal. They also charge me other fee such as winter resort fee ,over night parking fee which make me pay $100more when I check out.
And this hotel is not value at over $800 for one night stay
