The crew of state housing residents. Nice locals.
A locals perspective…Classic hotel confused about its identity. It doesn’t know if it’s low income housing, an extended stay or an over flow hotel designed to maximize profits off the ignorant traveler and desperate local. I didn’t like the staffs children cleaning my room, the bug in it or any personality at the front desk. . Steer clear. Inn America was just remodeled.

Better than expected. I've visited this area over many years, and this hotel had always looked unappealing. However, the location is a big draw, and now the price, the improved cleanliness, and the really decent continental breakfast have surprised me.
Thin walls: when your neighbor is watching TV, and you have to listen to the dialogue and music, it doesn't help you feel very secure and comfortable.

I liked the hospitality with friendly staff and complimentary snacks.
The shower water pressure was the absolute worst I've ever seen in a hotel. It was so bad that I considered washing my hair in the sink because it had better water pressure. I would rather stay at a hotel that has amazing shower capabilities, then stay somewhere with modern and chic decor and finishings. Please invest in the showers!!!
The room was very poorly lit, as well.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The staff and the facility would not take responsibility for not providing safety for their guests.

Did not eat breakfast. Bed mattress was comfortable.
Needs upgraded with bigger TV and remote controls that work. Window screens and patios should be cleaned. Bathrooms need new exhaust fan, toilets, and showers. Drink vending machine needed filled.

The location was on main street. So, easy access to everything. The pool looked clean, but we didn't have time to try it.
The hotel was in poor condition. The door to our room had been busted in at some point in the past, and didn't close well. Another guest was complaining about her tub backing up when we went to the front desk. Water stains on ceiling tiles, carpets from the 90's. And limited parking.

The location was ok. The bed was comfortable. The parking was good.
The room smelled of mildew and mold. There was mildew on the grout in the showers. There was leftover food in the room refrigerator. The furniture was torn and in disrepair.

Nice, professional, and responsive staff. Dog friendly.
Door to room needed high force (shoulder) to open. Outside doors to street in a less safe area (next to train tracks) were always unlocked. Elevator was broken, so we had to haul luggage up stairs. Fan was very loud.

The bed was very comfortable. The very very thick pillows can't be slept on but I used the thin pillow from the couch, put the pillow case on it and it worked just fine! My husband had a rolled up towel for his pillow.
I specifically asked for the first floor since I am recovering from extensive back surgery. I was not told that there is no first floor until the next morning when we checked out. The elevator was broken so we had to climb the outside stairs. By the time we did that and got into our room I immediately changed into my PJ's...went to the bathroom and under the sink sprayed water all over me. My husband checked it out and there was a leaky drain. He called the front desk. She came right up, was so sorry, offered to give us another room, even offered to refund us so we could go somewhere else but I was already in my PJ's and hurting badly. My husband told her to just get us a bucket which we put on a towel we had already put on the floor. She was a young lady who was trying so hard to help us but her hands were tied by all the negatives we faced in that hotel. The next morning I handed my opinion card to the young man at the front desk and told him about the challenges of the night before beginning with not getting a ground floor room...that is when he explained that there were no ground floor rooms! Why wasn't I told that initially...who knows. Anyway we were on our way out, traveling on to the next stop. On the positive...the room was clean and that young girl was really nice...she kept apologizing for no ground floor room (she didn't explain there were NONE), apologizing for the broken elevator and having to climb the steps, then the horrible spraying water all over the bathroom floor...I told her the mess was not her fault. On the negative...we were referred to this hotel. We have never been to Lewiston, Idaho before and just needed a handy to the highway hotel for the night. I would hope that you correct the information given out online to people when they go in to check out your hotel and decide to register for a room for the night. Also someone had to know about that horrible water leak when the room was cleaned!

The beds were comfortable.
The tub was cracked, were allowed only 2 towels, wash cloths and hand towel for a seven day stay. We should have not had to ask for more. Waited 20 min for someone at the desk so we could check in. The ice machine didn’t give ice except for the 2 nd floor, the elevator was out of commission from time to time. Some of the staff were young and rude. Under our beds were beer cans and sandals. The desk person was told about it. Apparently they don’t clean under the beds. Tripped several times on the carpet, it need stretched and re-tacked. Will not recommend this place nor stay there again. It cost $30 extra nightly for an extra bed and we’re told we got the best rate around, WRONG!!

Location was good and beds were comfortable. The first room we were assigned the A/C was not working but the manager moved us to a new room without a problem with a smile on her face and a ready apology.
