Location is good; inexpensive. Room size is good; everything was operating.
The rooms are really beat up and old. I also had many bed big bites.

The bed was relatively comfortable. The pillows were pretty soft.
The door was broken and very insecure. The heater cooked out and we were without heat. The bathroom looked like if you leaned on the wall you would fall through to another room. The bar next door was VERY loud all night. The entire property smelled VERY strongly of cigarettes.

The bathroom was filthy. Floor had not been mopped nor had the shower been cleaned. The room smelled like a smoking room even though it was not one. The security lock/flip latch was broken so I used my cane under the door as a wedge. The quilt had cigarette burns on top. I will not stay there again. Still cost almost $100 with the discount and even the lobby stunk.

They allowed a late check in
We checked in very late one night. The amount of interesting and odd folks that were outside of the hotel gave me a very uneasy feeling. The rooms had a very distinct musky smell mixed with urine. The room was dingy and very run down looking. I refused to sleep under the covers. I refused to use the shower since it looked dirty. The toilet moved if you bumped it.

Sheryl was the customer service representative at the front desk. She was good with us.
The reviews before our stay were mostly bad. But I thought they may be picky. They were all true. The pictures make the place look better. Our room smelled like dead people. The bathroom sink had built up grim around the faucet. The wash cloth was stained and coming un-done. The curtains weren't completely on the rail. Not-to-mention worn out furniture. We almost didn't stay over for fear of getting bed bugs. But the worst part was we felt like we were in the middle of a drug community . It was obvious the hotel had become housing. Cars were packed full of household items. Trucker was packed overnight. People were load and rude. We were woke up at 5:30 with someone pounding on a door. Awful place!

It was so unclean we had to leave and stay somewhere else that night.

When we first walked in, it looked older, but ok. The bed linens looked freshly cleaned and the beds were comfortable enough. Didn't need heat or AC, so I don't know how or if they worked.
The bathroom was disgusting. Although it looked like it had recently been cleaned, it had old cracked caulking that had dirt and grime embedded in it all around the tub and toilet. It looked like it had had some leaking/flooding in the bathroom and out onto the bed area. There was loose molding on the wall and dirty grout above the spigot in the shower. The vinyl they covered the floor with was about 1" short so there was a gap that had dirt in it behind the bathroom door. When I tried to open the outside door I got a green light, but the door wouldn't open. I had tried several times when a man walked by and said "try pulling up on the handle instead of pushing down. Some of the doors are like that". Sure enough, that was the problem. Would've been nice to have that info when we checked in. It looked like maybe this was a place people actually lived as there were several cats that cruised around and hung out at the door to the office...and how did the guy just walking by know about the door problems. If you have the choice, stay someplace else.
No breakfast was available even tho it said it was online. Don't know if I would've imbibed if it were.

There was no breakfast as advertised and paid for. Spider webs in the corners of the bathroom. Tiles missing on the floor of the bathroom where I am sure mold was gathering as water went into these spaces.. Scum all over the tub! Bathroom door would not close. Front door to the room was difficult to operate.

Manager on duty was friendly and very helpful smiling all the time give you a good feeling when you walk through the door. And yes it’s like right in the heart of town but there’s two little bars within walking distance for food and drinks if that’s what you want and they were very laid-back very happy and honestly my husband got a chance to try a apple pie drink and then a ice cream drink right behind it made him think he was having a apple pie with ice cream on it LOL the waitress at that little bar was fantastic
We found nothing to complain or not like about the place it was good
