Served it's purpose.

No refrigerator in our room, yet on the app it says it has one. Also, dead bug in the tub and the stairs were muddy.

Comfy bed. Nice front desk staff.

The hotel was overpriced for what you got.

The bed was comfortable. I did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The AC and TV worked.

The hotel was old and rundown. The breakfast choices were lacking. There was dried blood on the bed sheets.

9 of us divided into 3 rooms. Kids enjoyed the pool and we got a great nights sleep.

While this is an older hotel, the place is very clean, the beds are comfy, the breakfast was filling, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend this place as a great value for the price!

Glad we only stayed 1 night there.

Breakfast was okay. It couldn't have been better.

Check 3 rooms before finding one that didn't smell and was some what clean. Pool was close. Pump was broken. Very disappointed 😞

This was fine fir a one night stay. It was a good value and comfortable but needs updated.

The lobby area was very nice with all the wood and the fireplace. Nice hot breakfast selection. Nice clean white sheets, comfy beds, room was clean.

Please get rid of the heavy dark gold curtains and valance!!! Even if you aren't updating carpeting, some lighter, neutral blackout curtains would make the room seem fresher and more updated instead of old.

when it was best Western it was a good hotel, clean comfortable and friendly staff. Sure Stay has drug it down hill. It was dirty, moldy and just all-around uncomfortable to stay. Will never stay again

I'm afraid that there was little to like about this facility. I had read the reviews and MOST of them rated this motel as poor due to cleanliness. I had to see for myself. They were right. The vents on the AC/Heat were so dirty that we didn't even turn it on. Every high surface had a thick layer of dust and there was a heavy layer of dust under the headboard on the box springs (noted when I checked for bedbugs - none found). The shower curtain had dark mold or mildew on it. The table level surfaces appeared clean. The beds were quite comfortable but that is about the only good thing I can say. The breakfast LOOKED good, but the scrambled eggs were rubbery and tasteless, and the biscuits (for sausage & biscuits) were so hard that they couldn't be cut with a plastic knife & fork or, even, comfortably bitten. The sausage gravy didn't taste bad and I didn't try the sausage patty.

See the above. The fact that this Best Western is old and everything is outdated is NOT important. For the price, I didn't expect anything more and would have been content with it, HAD IT BEEN CLEAN. There is NO excuse for this type of housekeeping other than pure laziness on behalf of the housekeeping staff and NO oversight by management. It would not take much to correct. Best Western should divest itself of this facility.

The hotel has been remodeled with new carpet furniture Etc. The young man at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. The hot breakfast was awesome it had sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy, even a pancake machine! The hotel was also extremely quiet. I will stay here every time I go to Wytheville. The stay was perfect

Clean but needs updating.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The water temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate. The breakfast area was dark and cold. (The desk guy wouldn't light the fireplace. ) The eggs were rubbery. Our room had a weird smell, like basement.

We would probably not stay there again.

My first problem was the name of the hotel caused me to search for because the sign said Best Western and my reservation did not even state best western so I was confused and drove further down the road until I went back and asked and was told they hadn't gotten the new sign yet.

It didn't feel clean. It really appeared to be not kept up to the standard we had seen before. It also appeared to be hidden off the main road and it really didn't seem secure.
