So close to restaurants and shopping. Great areas for walking. And how can you beat being on a lake and watching a variety of wildlife? Even the train - which was probably 30 feet from our room - became a welcome event. Fun!
The rooms are a little older and could use some sprucing up but everything is well-tended to and the staff is attentive and seem to be happy and want to make your stay pleasant.

Staff were polite
The bathroom is unbelievably small. Toilet was right up against the bath tub.
What was the builder thinking?

No real silverware in only some rooms

Beautiful view of lake. Very clean and comfortable
Low water pressure in shower. Parking can be a bit tight.

Good pastries but tasted like day old. Left the Service Sign on door but nothing was done. Read the note to put dirty towels not back on the rack if we wanted clean ones, but didn’t get any. When we spoke to Reception and they said there was information on No Service if you didn’t stay a week. Where was that info?!?! Bad idea.

Loved the view from the balcony and for the price, you cannot beat it.
Maybe just the fact that there was still someone’s hair left over in the shower when I came into my room.

The waterfront view and walking distance to restaurants and shops was perfect.
There were roadworks that kept us up all night. That's not the hotel's fault, but they only informed us about this the day before we checked in when it was too late to make other arrangements. Also, they would not let us extend our check out by an hour so we could grab a quick brunch before putting our belongings in the car. I understand policy, but the lack of minor flexibility at that price point was a little off putting.

beautiful view of lake and in a great area to walk around town
understandably being next to a lake means a lot of insects, however coming into the room there were atleast 10 different bugs around inside

View was amazing. Staff were soooo friendly and helpful.
Room was very clean.
The mattress was not firm enough. We rolled to the middle of the bed.
Pillows were hard.

Lakeside + chic village shopping/dining 1 block away. It’s the Hamptons of Oregon. Pool is wonderful. Friendly staff. Quick check in/out. And get this, free gourmet chocolate chip cookies!

the location was excellent and the property was clean.
continental breakfast was limited.

Love the location. Appreciated the newly refurbished rooms. Lakeside view was amazing as was the proximity to neighborhood shops and restaurants.
would have appreciated water bottles in the room and a few necessities in the bathroom, eg cups.
also would have appreciated an extra hour til check out. the place seemed very empty and we had to wait outside for our transportation.

We love the location, albeit a bit noisy due to the train and construction. The hotel is tired and dated but our room was good sized and comfortable.
The a/c unit is old and noisy and the room is tired

I liked having a balcony right on the lake. Having a suite, not just a hotel room was great! There was a kitchenette and living area and separate bedroom. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed.
There was an unpleasant smell in the room I couldn't identify. i don't know if it was dirty carpets, smell from the lake, or something else.

Having the ducks swim by.
Not enough room for suitcases and such.

Great location. Tiny room- we had a 1 bdr suite and it couldn’t have been more than 200 sq ft. Lots of spider webs. For 300$ a night I expected more. Great staff. Could use a major renovation.

Lake view was spectacular, lovely check in and nice stay.
Thank you!

it is in a good location, great view, quite place, safe, and reliable.
The pool wasn’t open, I didn’t like the I didn’t know before. no room service.

The location to shops, restaurants, coffee and Whole Foods. It’s lake front.
The kitchenette isn’t stocked with utensils or plates/bowls. No sponge to clean dishes. When I asked why I was told its due to Covid. We’ve stayed at other locations in this family brand in 2021 and 2022 (Lincoln City and Cannon Beach)- all other properties still offer kitchen tools. The pool is heated all year, but seasonal. You cannot even sit on the pool deck at the tables! The parking is tight including spaces and turn around. The pullout bed is horrible. No pet poo bags, water bowls or towels around property (like the others). No cookie as advertised- again due to Covid, but serve muffins in the morning.

That there was a kitchenette and the location.
Modest facility

the location is great, right next to the downtown area and right on the river. the bathroom seemed updated and the kitchenette was really nice for people with longer stays
only one thing, could use an extra tissue box in the room where the bed is, and preferably softer ones. the tissues they had were really rough, toilet paper felt nicer. if that’s the only issue it’s a good issue to have

Older building, could hear neighbors walking around & kids at 7:00 am.

Location is excellent!
I wish I had known that the pool was not open yet. I should have read more closely--I'm guessing it was mentioned somewhere in the fine print--but I had searched hotels for a pool and your hotel came up. Pictures of the pool are featured VERY prominently with no obvious mention that it is only open a few months out of the year. This seems deceitful.

Location of this place is great. A few steps to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and it touches Lake Oswego.
Nothing really.

the property is dirty and costumer service is just horrible. the hotel is by the train rail and noisy all the day and night.
the management is completely useless . not helpful to the guests.
i don’t recommend this hotel if you want to have nice time.
smell and noise . worst of all bad costumer service

great location, shops nearby, spacious rooms with a view
IT SMELLED ! The carpets had a bad odor. Had to keep windows open to keep the odor down. It would be best, since it is pet friendly, to have laminate floors. Carpets collect odors. Also, I bothered me that hotel staff did not wear masks.

Great value for location.
