We liked that there was a restaurant & bar on site.
The box springs of the bed had blood on it. The footstool in the extra room of our suite had soda spilled all over the top and one of our suitcases stuck to it. The bathroom fixtures had spots all over from where a cleaning agent was sprayed but not wiped up. Our Cadillac Escalade would not fit in the “valet only” parking structure so we had to park it OURSELVES in the hotel’s open parking lot, and was still charged $30 for the “valet only” parking that we did ourselves. A compromise could be a half rate $15 for parking in a situation like this.

The location is good for our college visit. The staff is nice and welcoming. The hotel cafe is very good.
The facilities are old. The bathroom cleaning was not great. The air conditioner is a bit noisy.

I stayed here because of its proximity to Trees pool at PITT becacause I was participating in Senior Olympics. This hotel was VERY accommodating to all of us who stayed here, offering discounts on food in the restaurant and maps of how to get to the pool. ( It was a very short and uncomplicated walk up “cardiac hill”) This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, large bathroom. Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was $16.00. There is a nice restaurant with a limited menu. Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Parking is not free.
The price of breakfast and $30.00 a day to park. There aren’t a lot of places to eat nearby.

Everything
Nothing. Everything was great. We were close to all the great sites and our tennis tournament.

Staff was great. Room was spacious and clean. Great room amenities. Reasonably priced food in the area that delivered to the hotel.
Construction noise right across the street. No outside courtyard or smoking area for guests. Had to pay a separate high fee to park overnight. Prices for restaurant and 24/7 snacks were high and restaurant menu was limited.

Very close to U of Pitt campus. I was in the city for my son’s college graduation; This hotel was on the shuttle list to the event. Most staff were friendly & knowledgeable.; a few were above & beyond magnificent.
Room was lacking in cleanliness. Bits of things on the carpet- could be a sub par vacuum & not staff. Sheets were stained. My check in desk person seemed new; she wasn’t thorough in her explanations and had no small talk to offer. The following morning I called the desk just before 7am & the gentleman who answered seemed rushed & slightly annoyed. It would appear you normally have to pay $2 per bottled water. I was told that the bottles in my room were free. There were 2. I think it’s outrageous to charge guests anything for bottled water, or cap it at 4bottles/day/guest. (Especially considering I was paying over $700 for 2 nights for just myself.) There was a large glass container with tap ice water placed in the lobby after breakfast, which was fine with me. However, when I was checking out the 2 gentleman (who were very welcoming to guests) told those checking in that bottled water was free; if they needed more to call the desk & they would be taken care of. Parking was also not clear. There was a sign partially handwritten that said “Lot Closed” “Valet Parking only”. I thought that meant it was only valet parking for the hotel, and closed to public. I had to go into the hotel & up the stairs to the desk only to find out it was completely full. After I found Street parking, I had to lug my bags 4 blocks to the hotel, inside & up the stairs. Only to see there was a ramp entrance right to the desk from the garage area, which was indicated nowhere.

It was convenient to UPitt. The layout of the foyer and restaurant area was very accommodating.
It would be nice to have complimentary breakfast.

It was close to we’re we needed to be
According to booking.com breakfast was included with our stay but it wasn’t. It was 15.50 per person each day. Only had basic cable. The overnight manager was very unpleasant. The only nice people were the wait staff at breakfast

The breakfast was great and staff was very accommodating. Helped by giving us a take out box since we were rushing to a medical appt where one family member couldn't eat. The ftont desk staff was great on our way in.
The room was a handicapped room but the room was so little it was difficult to even bring a wheelchair in anything other then the bathroom. I didnt like the cost of parking but thats to be expected in a city. No ice in ice machine.

The location was great. Our TV wasn't working when we arrived. The staff member sent to help us was prompt, friendly and able to fix the issue for us quickly. The manager (Koda) on Sunday when we checked out was excellent.
The pillows were not the most comfortable and the bathroom had no overhead fan. The TV wasn't working when we arrived because the power cord on the back of the TV was not connected. Finally, when we checked in, there was no reservation for us. It may have been an issue with booking.com, and the staff was helpful and got us checked in despite the problem.

I love the location and the facilities.
The bathroom electrical outlet was either not working or wouldn't work with my hair dryer. I had to blow dry my hair at the desk.
