Location was excellent. There for a concert, couldn't have been more convenient.
Rooms are a little worn, and could have been cleaner.

Comfy beds, extremely friendly and professional staff. Large room, lots of towels! Food at the restaurant was really good too.
Rugs stained in rooms but the rug was clean, just old stains. But I understand its a busy hotel and this happens. Not a big deal

What breakfast? We tried to find out if there was one and was told the “ restaurant “opens 4 to 9 pm. When there is no event that night, they offer 5 choices of food. It’s basically a bar.
We liked that it was easy walking distance to the Arena.
The staff was friendly enough without being overly helpful
Upon arrival we found there was one coffee cup for us to share. Luckily I always bring 2. The bathroom was rather tiny , desk was falling apart along with the bench that I assumed was provided for ease of dressing. My sister has a machine for her sleep apnea and there was no place to plug it in by the bed. We had to unplug the lamp.
For the steep price of nearly $600 for 2 nights and $50 parking we expected more.

The closeness of PG center

The property is next door to the arena so if you are attending an event, this is a great place to stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall size of room. The water pressure in the shower was better than most hotels.
Rooms are a little outdated for the price but the proximity to the arena balances that out.

The hotel was very close to the concert I was going to. All of the staff were very kind
Trash cans. There was on trash can in the room without a bag. We did our best to keep trash bagged and in one area but it would've been nice to have somewhere to put it. We got a room with a pull out bed and it would've been nice if the appropriate linens were in the closet to set up that bed and not have to ask staff to bring us extra blankets.

Great location
Our room was not very clean. Bed were good. But the carpet in our room felt dirty. Lots of stains and there was lint and popcorn on the floor near the bed and the couch. Everything else was great. Also didn’t like that we were charged for parking. Just feel like that should be included with our stay. $50 is outrageous!

Location is excellent. Didn't eat breakfast there. Had to run
Nothing

The property was right next to the arena we were seeing a concert at and wasn’t far from some very nice restaurants. The staff were also all super friendly.
The room was not cheap so we had very high expectations. The shower looked nasty and had hair all in it, there were no trash bags at all in our room, the bed was not comfortable at all, and the TV was very finicky.

I really was overwhelmed with the level of service though. Alright, breakfast: we were told there was a hot breakfast upon our check-in; we got to the lobby about 9:15 Saturday morning to only some apples, bread and mini-muffins but yet got to the lobby at 9:30 Sunday morning and a full hot breakfast was out, so that was weird. However, the front desk was well-run and our dinner on Saturday before the Penguins game was delicious and the server very attentive. I recieved a text asking whether anything was needed for the room and I received a prompt reply. Heck, our smoke detector started chirping after dinner but before the game and the maintenance guy was a pleasure!
The room itself was sparse and I wish I hadn't paid for the suite, but stuck to the plain room. Extra in the "suite" was a comfortable couch with a chaise (cool add, as I've never seen one in a hotel room), a fairly tall desk (minus any pen and paper, menu, or anything but added, above desk-level, the exposed telephone wire for the cordless phone that didn't work) and light (more on that later). The bedroom was DARK. Our room had one sliver of a window that opened up to a fold in the brick building; we literally had a view of a brick facade. The king bed was very comfortable, and the extra pillows I asked for upon booking were actually of varying softness (how dreamy that was! that's why you ask for extra pillows!). It also was half empty space. Maybe it was missing a table or even a folding luggage rack?

This was my first trip to Pittsburgh and I came to see a Penguins game at PPG Paints Arena. I was so happy that I could walk from the hotel to the arena in just minutes! No getting into a car and paying for a parking spot; no fighting crowds of people. It was perfect!
3.9
Staff is friendly. Lobby and bar are nice. Proximity to PPG Paints arena is great. Room was quiet.
Our room had multiple stains/spills on the floor and walls that looked like no one even attempted to clean them. Fridge was warm, not cold. Sink in the bathroom did not drain well. We’d love to stay again but hope the housekeeping staff will clean up a little better next time, and some routine maintenance can be done in the rooms.

We loved the location to PPG arena for a night game. The suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Nothing other than somethings minor. We could not get the drapes open in the AM. The bathroom outlet needs to be wiped off. There was only 1 packet of real sugar for the coffee.

Room was spacious. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Front desk personnel were very nice. Parking was safe and convenient.

Location
Rooms weren’t as advertised.

It’s on the outskirts of downtown, the parking facilities were good.
Wi-Fi did not work for us, the door closers were gone, the bathroom entrance was dirty, and the room had a strange oder…

The breakfast was just ok to me.
The staff was nasty and not pleasant at all.

Location.
The adventures began immediately at the entrance, where they tried to charge me an additional 150 dollars for a parking space, but I was without a car and if I had not checked this information, I would have been charged additional money.
Next, the room - the refrigerator had damaged insulation, there was no water in the room. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, the TV remote was without batteries (I put mine in there). The toilet tank was malfunctioning.
Breakfast costs $14, but it's not worth the money.
After checking out of my room, on my way to the airport the hotel tried to charge me 203 dollars. Upon calling the hotel to clarify the reason, they were unable to answer me why they are trying to charge me these funds. It's good that my credit limit was used up, and they couldn't collect that payment.
In general, I am not satisfied with the trip to this hotel.

The hotel had secured parking.
The room wasn’t clean.
No body wash or bar soap in shower. No trash bags in trash cans and the can we’re filthy.
The toilet was not clean and it rocked.

The water pressure in the shower was amazing!! It was clean and the room was large.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and it was very creaky and noisy.

Beautiful Bar and lobby area

Loved the lounge area inside our room as well as the lobby. Outdoor patio was great as well. The pool area was nice. Enjoyed the location close to downtown! The staff was excellent. Helped the stay feel easy :) love the water filling station and the exercise area as well. The lighting inside the bathroom was great for getting ready as well:) beautiful sitting areas so u don't feel "stuck in your room" at all!
The fire pit in the patio area did not work, and the bed felt a little "downhill" my husbands back didn't love it. Tho the rest of the family slept great!
3.9
The location is VERY convenient if you’re going to PPG or other locations close by. I like that there is parking on-site ($20). The rooms were clean. The shower water pressure is nice and strong.
My only complaint is that the AC in our room didn’t work. It was 72 degrees when we got to our room so we turned the AC down thinking it would cool the room off while we were gone. We were gone several hours and came back and the room was still 72 degrees and the carpet under the AC was soaked. They moved us to a new room which just happened to be next door so that really was very convenient since we didn’t have to move our stuff very far.
3.9
The hotel had everything you needed to have a nice stay, the mixed drinks and food were good.
I can't say that I had any issues really, it's a Pepsi product place.
3.9
Close to the arena and walkable to food. Staff really nice
Nothing

Front desk manager, Deborah Constible was friendly and helpful. She was the only positive to staying at this hotel.
Booking.com listed wrong description of room resulting in uncomfortable accommodations. Carpet, couch had disgusting stains. Moldy shower curtain and handicap shower hose/head. Water leak in hallway light that resulted in a hole in drywall & breakdown of ceiling that continued for over 48 hours. Bathroom fan in 2 rooms were broken, light switches didn't work. No toilet paper, took over an hour for someone to bring some up. Spilled shampoo container in bathroom from previous guest.
