It was close to down town and the beach
There was no one when I arrived, I should guess that they left me a message on booking :( . The hotel was more like a 2 starts motel but changed as a 4 starts. Booking rate should be corrected it’s not fair!!
4.2
It was cozy, clean and quaint. The courtyard with comfy chairs and fire pits was awesome!
4.2
Everything was great! Cookies were a great bonus. Only suggestion. The rooms could use some decorative touches, like some artwork.
4.2
The premises was clean. We enjoyed the coffee machine and the pastries.
I wish there was a mini fridge.
4.2
The hospitality and ease of being accommodated.
The cleanser smell in the room was too strong.
4.2
Location. Other family stayed at the same hotel. Gas fire place outside to relax in courtyard.
Ceiling Fan did not work properly-It either was off or on high speed. I could not get it to go medium speed. Hard to understand how to use the heater and television. I needed to call staff.

Calvin was a very gracious host. We had a late check-in and everything was arranged so we had no problem accessing our room. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is super convenient. We would defintely stay again if we were to return to the Santa Cruz area.
4.2
That my dog was allowed and bed sheet was soft
We could hear the music from outside which made it really hard to sleep

Our stay was pleasant! The room was nothing special but great for the price. Staff was super easy to communicate with and the place was accessible and a great location.
The room felt a bit sterile, very meager decor. It wasn't extremely comfortable but like I said, for the price, it did the trick. The room was relatively clean, however there were a few off-putting stray hairs from previous guests and maybe I missed it in the description, but there was no maid-service.
4.2
Coffee machine didn’t have any coffee in it
room smelled like chemicals and no frig in room or coffee maker or microwave
4.2
The TV
NO REFRIGERATOR and NO MICROWAVE in the Room, Floor had mold going into bathroom…

Great front desk and conierge, nice common spaces and atmosphere. Easy walking to Piers and restaurants. Safe neighborhood
There was loud dance music with strong sub woofer bass pounding through the walls until 11 PM. It was going at 3 PM when we checked in.

Location was amazing and it was a very cute place to stay.
Not much to complain about, but I never found the breakfast that was mentioned.

Location for dubs game! Helpful friendly staff.
Took a while to warm up the room.

very recently updated and clean. everything was basically brand new. I had access to heated fireplaces in my room and in the court yard. 24 hour access to water/ice and a really neat coffee/latte machine. the location is literally perfect as well! we can’t wait to visit again!
nothing I loved everything it was above and beyond my expectations, maybe new pillows lol

room was great. bed was comfortable and the staff was super helpful and available
wifi in common spaces wasn't the best, signal was quite weak but overall nothing else to complain about
4.2
My room was spacious and clean, with natural light and blackout blinds.
The staff were friendly. There were fresh baked goods every afternoon. Just right for my needs.
There was some noise from the apartments next door. Not bad, but the walls are thin.
4.2
Comfort and location.
4.2
The room was nice, the shower was great, nice size.
Could have had a mini refrigerator in the room.

They did not respond to my query for a ground floor room
Neither did they respond to my question about assistance with luggage. I told them I had mobility issues and they never responded. Then when I got there there was no one to help with luggage (though young woman was probably more able physically than a senior couple, one who cannot lift anything. She just shrugged. The facilities were good but she was not helpful and didn’t care that it was hard for us to lift luggage and carry it to our room. No dolly or anything to help. She did not give a hoot.

The location is great, easy walking distance to downtown or the beach/boardwalk. Outside of building and garden/outdoor relaxation areas nice and private. Love that they allowed dogs.
Rooms were small. While communication was good, not having onsite staff was a little strange. It was easy to help ourselves to ice and wine glasses. Looks like they used to serve breakfast and while they left cookies out in the afternoon, bringing food back would improve the feeling of a home away from home. The “fabreze” scent in the lobby was overwhelming and probably unnecessary.

location was great, bed was comfortable, we didn’t use the fireplace but is was a nice option in the room and the outdoor fire pits were also nice
the shower was like a pressure washer and when we turned it on it shot off of its hook and flung around like a fire hose drenching the floors, my entire suitcase, the toilet paper, the other towels and there was no staff on at that time to help me or even to provide extra towels, parking is off site and $15 per night, no mini fridge in the room and my medications went bad not being refrigerated
