THE ROOM HAD A NICE PANORAMIC VIEW AND THE SOUND OF THE OCEAN WAS VERY RELAXING. ALSO, THE LOUNGE AND BAR AREA WAS VERY SOOTHING. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT WOULD LIKE MORE CHOICES FROM THE MENU.
MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THERE ISN'T ACCESS FOR ADA WHEN WE WANTED TO OPEN THE DOORS TO THE LOBBY. MY HUSBAND IS IN A WHEEL CHAIR SCOOTER AND THERE WAS NO AUTOMATIC DOORS OR HANDLES.

The experience was off to a wonderful start until we received the final bill and incurred a daily $44 parking fee that was not explained nor shared at checkin. In addition, other hidden taxes and fees were added to bill.

Very nice location outdoor seating areas right on water are very nice and lobby was a great place to hang out .
Beds are not that comfortable

Bed was very comfortable. Ocean sounds were amazing.
We had an “ocean view” room, but the walk way is outside the window. Viewing the ocean meant passing guests could view in. FORTY DOLLARS for parking not included in Booking listing.

Loved the location and staff
Front desk staff was not helpful. Gave me wrong room number and then wrong credit for wine. All in all worked out ok but a challenge before bed time

No hot water, poor design of shower water everywhere.

Gorgeous views, love the complimentary wine, updated and love love the s’mores and fire on beach!!
Not one thing it is by far the best hotel
7.0 / 10.0
Nicely remodelled and direct access to a beautiful beach
Hidden fees that weren't part of the booking price, e.g. $40 parking and $25 per person that you could spend on the 'wine wall' however no other options were given. The booking said it could be used for food and beverage but this was not the case in person. Total scam and Marriott should do better.

Amenities and the extras they give you (eg $25 dollar wine budget per day)
$40 dollar per night for parking. We choose to park somewhere else and walk to the hotel.

Everything was great
Wasn't told of destination fee and also not told $50.00 parking fee!
8.0 / 10.0
Phenomenal location.
Awesome complimentary activities.
Clean modern rooms
Beautiful views from the rooms and lobby
Comfortable beds
Paying $45/ day for parking. As guest who are staying the night, this should be complementary.
The rooms are not soundproof. So you hear all the noses. Although the sound of the ocean is great, the waves crashing is really loud. Better sound proofing in the room wound be great.
Having a sea view is special, but to enjoy this, you’ll need to keep your curtains/blinds open, which means your privacy is compromised.

Room is clean
Waited for an hour to be situated in the room. I was informed the room will be ready for 15-20 mins, then I waited and went back after 35 mins, the room was still not ready yet and was informed to wait for another 15 mins.

I loved the firepits, chairs, and lounges set up all along the outside of the hotel.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional—greeting me at the door and offering a warm welcome. They even provided a complimentary $25 gift card to purchase a wine of my choice. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, truly top-notch.
The room itself was perfect, offering a stunning sunset view and a free s'mores kit to enjoy during the stay. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night made me never want to leave the bed. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to friends!
Zero.Everything is perfect beside not having a Robe and wine opener in the room.

Lobby and seating areas were exceptional, with a spectacular view of the ocean. The common areas were put together really well.
The cost was very high and there were many undisclosed fees that really added up. The value is simply not there. The facility feels like a luxury motel but in the end it’s just that…. A motel. The amenities were not all available to us - sauna, ice plunge pools were not yet open. Hot tub was not well lit and appeared run down. Electric bikes were all taken. S’mores is a nice idea but give enough supplies for the party size and please be ready with the advertised blankets when it’s bad weather. People can easily see into the rooms from the outside.

Great location and view…
No complaints whatsoever
10.0 / 10.0
The location is super nice if you like the beach, but a little further from the city center. But hearing the waves in to the room feels amazing. Food at the restaurant was really good and when the saunaa will finish it will become a super nice place.
It might get a bit cold with the wind and we actually had to turn the ac on to keep warm, and that is REALLY loud.

Great beach front location.
2 nights, nearly $300 for just the parking and a 5lb dog pet fee. Many of the hotels we stay that are pet friendly hold a “refundable” deposit for pet cleaning. We used Booking.com for the reservation. Nothing was mentioned of $40 per night parking, and $30 per night per plus $160 non-refundable pet cleaning deposit. That might have affected our choice for accommodations. Our room #326 was next to the back side of the elevator shaft…extremely noisy early morning hours as people came and went.

There were a number of added charges which we had not been notified about which were added onto our bill. We were told that we had a credit of $25 dollars for wine but then we were charged $25 for the ‘complimentary’ wine and WiFi fees. The room was small but reasonably comfortable but the staircases leading to the rooms we of poor quality and gave the feeling of a motel rather than a hotel.

It has been beautiful upgraded, showers, etc.
Since property is on the beach a sugestión would be to install a water faucet on top of the Stairs to remove the sand from the feet and shoes when coming back from the beach to the hotel.

Muy ruidoso. Las habitaciones que nos dieron dan a la autopista.

The property was beautiful, inside and out. Rooms were not big, but very well decorated and adorable accents. Outdoor area was clean, plenty of seating areas to soak up the beach view, have drinks, eat and relax. Beach access directly in front with what felt like a private beach area.
There really wasn't anything I didn't like. It was perfect.

Location
Very unorganized. Also, we were advised at check in that a $250 per room charge for incidentals would be held on our card (per room) that we were not made aware of by booking.com or the hotel in advance. Took forever to get a room, had to continue to check back with front desk for availability and once we received room and keys no room number was given just general location so we returned multiple times to front desk before settling in our room.

I was charged for a Oceanview suite , the room was tiny . The bathroom has no room to breathe. The dinner was overpriced. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese for dinner and it was swimming in grease. BIG time disappointment!!
Room size in relationship to cost
Food in relationship to prize, had to leave the hotel to afford to eat

Felt safe and clean. The views were amazing.
There was sand in the room when we got there.

One of the restaurants was closed but we weren't informed of that. It said room service was offered but it wasn't. The fridge didn't fit the food boxes provided by the hotel restaurants. The bath tub didn't plug so we couldn't take a bath. The walls had foot prints all over it. The staff at the very expensive restaurant had zero knowledge of the menu. There were people in and out of our room doing upgrades, which we weren't informed about when we booked. They charged $15 for a soda. They didn't have conditioner which is pretty standard at every hotel and motel I have ever been to. The baseboards were coming off of the wall.

Very nice view
Took 3 hr from check in time for room to be ready & almost 5 pm before getting to room. House keeping was terrible, ask 9:00 am for new towels and dump trash, 5:00 pm went down to office again. 7:00 pm brought 4 towels. No trash dumped. Gentleman at desks was very rude. Stay August 6 & 7 2024.

It was beautiful, with the weather had cooperated so we could have used the outdoor areas more. Would have loved an ice machine on the 100 side of the complex, and the water filling station in the lobby wasn’t working,
The person at the front desk was training, she mentioned we would get wine coupons for each room. When we came back to get our keys it wasn’t mentioned.

I got a room right in front of the beach. The view is gorgeous.
Proximity to the beach. Location is near lots of shops like Starbucks, In-n-Out. Few miles from downtown Monterey.

Staff were very helpful very professional. The property location is right on the beach. The beach booths with the fire pits were great for a night time hangout by the beach. Best hotel stay we have had
Nothing everything was great
