It was beautiful.
The walk from the ocean front bungalow to the main office and cars is quite a hike. Especially with luggage. The hotel should consider renting bikes/scooters

If you pay the lesser but still hefty price of 800 USD, you will get the old, non-renovated rooms, which are spacious and have some nostalgic charm to them, but are also in urgent need of a thorough upgrade. Otherwise, the property is stunning, with lush gardens and views of Hana, and an exquisite pool overlooking the ocean. The pancakes are your best options at breakfast.
The rooms that have not been upgraded need to be upgraded soon!

Nada.

amazing property!
the restaurant connected to the resort had good food and nice staff but overall the vibe was not in sync with the resort.

Catholic church is across the street.
The standard economy room for $830 per night does not have air conditioning and is worn, see the photo of the kitchen faucet and bathroom sink. Consider a more expensive option at this resort.

The grounds were beautiful, staff was friendly and wonderful location! Lots of amenities for the whole family.
The rooms were a bit outdated. The first night, we had a unit with no air conditioning and it was HOT! We couldn’t sleep. The next night they changed our unit to the lower bungalows and it seemed like an entirely different hotel. It was terrific. If you do go here make sure you ask specifically for a unit with an AC!

Huge bathrooms.
The floor was super sticky. Fans were super slow even on full speed and there is no AC so you will feel super hot. Very limited vegetarian food options. They don't have utensils in the hotel and could not give us a bowl that we asked for and only provided paper plates. There were cockroaches as well. Didn't find any access to the beach.

Great rooms

We loved the restaurant breakfast. The hotel location was great.
We did not have tv and air conditioner. The room was hot.
4.3
it was beautiful and without tv and music blaring at the pools it seemed remote which added to the relaxation you felt wonderful with the added fun of dinner at the nearby food trucks

Extraordinary hotel in a fantastic place
Location has its price

Very tasty croissant/egg sandwich, fruit bowl and guava juice.
Best pulled pork sandwich I ever had for dinner.
No hot tub. Was really looking forward to that after a challenging hike.
4.3
remoteness and setting and privacy

dog friendly
great staff
dated bathrooms, but clean

This place is incredibly beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night to break up our journey driving the road to Hana and it was just a perfect place to rest and recharge. The rooms are incredible and the views are even better. It was just a shame we only had one night there.

this resort is huge! but they do not have that many rooms which means it’s very quiet with little guests. you will have to call for golf cart to travel around the resort if you don’t want to walk a long distance
Hana itself is a very small town with little entertainment
4.3
peace and quiet
outdated
expansive
not the best value for money

Great Stay at The Hana Mani Resort. Away from any hustle and bustle, this is secluded and full of peace, and the resort is fabulous and first rate all the way. The Bungalows were breathtaking and located footsteps from the ocean, so I recommend spending the extra money for a Bungalow. The breakfast was great, and the staff were incredible, friendly, and told us about some great spots for waterfalls and hikes. The property is secluded and private and also a great place to explore with many many amenities. We enjoyed great conversations with the other guests at the firepit and also watched an incredible sunrise at the beach below which was magical. We also didn't realize a famous Hana red sand beach is steps away, but this'll give us reason to be back. It was the closest to finding peace I've ever had being on a vacation and just away from the crowds and surrounded by beauty.

Right by the sea really breathtaking view of the ocean.
But needs cart to travel around nothing is within walking distance. We only stayed for one night so could not tell how good the facilities are but i believe it is better for couple to spend their honeymoon rather than for family.
