nothing. not one thing.
the receptionist at the front desk was rude and discourteous, the other was asleep on the clock. I was charged for a stay that I did not get to make due to the unprofessionalism of and discomfort brought about by way of the staff.

nothing at all
I had to go wait while the front desk staff sat in a car with another occupant and smoked smelling of drugs . she then was rude and unpleasant when she finally came inside

The staff was wonderful, very pleasant and welcoming. Location was easy to find. Parking was adequate.
The room was unkempt, dust in corners, around edges of room, walls were dirty, room needed paint, burn holes in comforter, no coffee machine, no usable toiletries provided, hallway smelled of strong cigarette smoke, refrigerator was too cold (froze my water!), just an old hotel with no updates.
2.5
The location was definitely ideal. Only 20 mins from the stadium. Staff was friendly.
The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke even though they were no smoking rooms. The fridge didn't work. The jacuzzi tube was next to the bed. You have to slam the door shut or else you can just push it back open. Need better bathroom supplies (no body wash and shampoo/conditioner in bags). Holes in bedding.

The staff here MADE the hotel. They are doing the very best they can with what they have to work with. This hotel is in serious need of being updated. My memories of HoJo were always really good, and i was. Shocked to see this one looked more like a Super 8.
The staff goes out of their way to make aure your stay is good, but i will probally stay closer to center if we come back.
The rooms are seriously dated. Needs to be brought up to current timea. Floors stained, bugs in bathroom, mold above the windows. Cracked walls....view of trashcans. Would not walk barefooted

Smelled like smoke.
Linens were old.
Not very clean.

The hotel is in a good location - it’s right off the highway and across the street from a Waffle House. It was a short drive to downtown Tuscaloosa.
The hotel smelled like smoke and there were quite a few bugs in the room.

Close to college stadium less traffic
Very dirty, dusty, musty smelling, dirty fridge and washing facilities. Shower leaked all over bathroom, counters in bathroom had mold and cobwebs. Took a wipe and wiped room telephone-BLACK DIRT.

sketchy. lady @ front desk was very nice. I asked to look @ a room. I walked in & the smell (muggy, moldy & quite nauseating. I also looked @ blanket on bed & it was disgusting. I told lady @ front desk, I wasn’t trying to be rude but theirs no way I could stay there. she said “I understand, I wouldn’t stay here either”!!
very run down

Property was very easy to find and had very good parking.
Staff were as helpful as they could be and very nice.
Property needs updated badly!
Carpet in hallway is torn and coming up. Lights in room missing light bulbs, remote to TV did not have batteries and when we asked for batteries we were told sorry we don't have any.
Mattress was like sleeping on a table with a cover.

The room size was nice. Had it been cleaner and smelled better it would’ve been much nicer.
I ended up leaving halfway thru the night. The front desk worker was on her personal cellphone nearly the entire time of check in. She didn’t tell me how to get to my room, nor that there were no elevators. The room was blocked by 3 loud females. The comforter had cigarette burns in it. After I checked in, I had an event to attend. When I left, there were at least 4 young men lingering around the front entrance talking to an employee. I felt very unsafe. Around 10:40 pm, I was awakened by several loud voices in the hallway. I tried to call the front desk and nobody Answered. I waited about 45 mins with all the loudness and then I decided to leave. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I feel I should be given a refund.
