Old and beautiful. Right in downtown. Close to everything
Waited I. Line to check in for over 30 minutes which seems really inefficient for such an expensive hotel.
No minibar, no fridge in the room, room service took 45 minutes just for drinks.
Pillows are small and flat. Only one robe provided.
And house keeping came in and made the bed but didn’t take empty glassware from room service so they just sat in our room for two days.
Overall not worth the price we paid.

We had a wonderful time & the place was so beautiful. I have never stayed in such a beautiful place. Everyone was so friendly & helpful.
It took 2 days to pick up our dinner plates from our order the night before

The historic building is lovely and well maintained.
The room decor is drab and old. The famous mattress felt old and broken down…pillows lumpy and linens had stains. We requested the sofa bed be made up hours before returning from a show in town, and it was not. We called to request it be made up when we got back and an hour later, at 11:30p we called and cancelled…no one had shown up. Our adult daughter had a very uncomfortable night. There was one disposable coffee cup for 3 people.
For over $400 this was shameful.
I have stayed here many times and loved it in the past. I won’t stay again.

perfect location, right next to concert venue; a veritable museum of a hotel, perfectly restored and very well maintained
nothing, really; new lobby was under construction during my visit

I travel a lot all over the U.S. and the world. This is my absolute favorite hotel in the United States! No joke. It’s perfectly situated in the center of Spokane, and the property itself is an absolute gem! If you are traveling to Spokane for leisure, I have no idea why you would stay anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and acquaint yourself with this fantastic place. Also eat breakfast and/or dinner there. Have a drink in the Peacock Lounge. It’s a true destination hotel!
Not one dang thing!

We were able to park and be close to all of our activities. We were in town to see a show at the Bing Crosby Theater.

The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the historic hunt to find things around the hotel. The kids had fun doing this. Great idea!
The price was 1000.00 for 2 nights. Room smelled a little musty but was clean and nice. Bed was queen and could have been better. We stay at all the Davenport Hotels and this was the first time to have a bad bed.

The location would have been fine, but there was a homeless person right outside the window but seven floors down who was yelling to himself until almost 2:00 in the morning.
Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.
The pillows were incredibly flat. Even with three of them.
It was extremely loud with the homeless person outside which I realize the Hotel could not control.
The sundae we had last time was not available anymore at the restaurant or bar inside the hotel, which was SO disappointing, lol.

Beauty of hotel, staff, restaurant, little coffee area, pool, hot tub, spa (had a massage, excellent).
More TV channels, movie rental ($20) too high. Maybe offer some less popular movies for $8.00 which is the average price in hotels.

Always love the rooms and both lounges in the historic and tower.
Nothing.

A fantastic stay all the staff we dealt with was great. The bed was excellent. What a beautiful building.
The pillows need help.

The hotel itself
No soap for shower, sink was cracked, valet parking increased to $35, "hospitality" fee is $22. Seems like a cash grab for no extra benefit.

I understand completely why the mattresses are for sale! The bed was incredibly comfortable. I really enjoyed the fitness center as well as the pool and hot tub. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. Loved the food!
4.3
It was beautifully decorated for the holidays, staff was very nice and professional.
We all slept well.
Unsure if this was a miscommunication of amenities by booking.com or the hotel gave me a different room than what Booking said was offered, but the king noting a bathtub did not in fact have a bathtub.
I won’t use it in most hotels, but it is a selling point/I do look forward to a bath when the hotel is of a nicer caliber.
This was the only disappointment.
Check out at noon allowed us to go out for a late breakfast/not feel rushed in the morning.

N/A as no free breakfast. I asked.
Little spendy for Spokane

The spa is amazing, the rooms are so comfortable and cozy. The rooms are totally sound proof and my daughter LOVES that they have doorbells. There is so much to see and so much history.
I do wish the room service menu was a little more complete

This was our 20th year of coming to the Davenport overnight. My daughter and granddaughter look forward to it every year. It was nice. To be gifted by the staff with the box of peanut brittle in honor of the 20th visit at so what do we need to do to get ready for Aidan‘s birthday thing on Wednesday or do I need to do we need to do we need to get a card we need to get tires the tires give me money for the tires we’d be giving you money anyway figure it out. See you later. OK turn the lights on if you need to Christmas.
When there are three adults staying in a room, there should be three glasses available.
